That the City of Carlisle desires the condemnation of a fee simple interest
of the above—described properties shown on the attached plat marked
Exhibit
“A” and by this reference made a part hereof and made a part of the
Application
filed with the chief Judge of the Fifth Judicial District containing Polk
County,
Iowa and as filed in the office of the Sheriff of Warren County, Iowa
That such condemnation is sought for the purpose of obtaining ingress and
egress from adjoining property which will then allow development thereof.
That a Commission has been appointed, as provided bylaw, for the purpose
of appraising the damages that will be caused by the taking of the above-
described properties.
That the Commissioners will, on the 22nd dayof January, 2020, at 9:30

Biscuits and Gravy Breakfast
is January 19th
The Norwalk Knights of Columbus will have a
biscuits and gravy breakfast on Sunday January 19,
2020 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am, at St. John the
Apostle Catholic Church, 720 Orchard Hills Drive in
Norwalk. 2
The Knights will serve biscuits and gravy,
scrambled eggs, hash browns, fruit, coffee, juice and
milk. The proceeds will go to the Norwalk High School
Dance Marathon which supports the University of
Iowa Children’s Hospital for pediatric cancer
research, equipment, and to help support the families
of children fighting cancer. NorWalk High School
students who are involved in the Marathon will be
helping at the breakfast and will have information
available to explain this great cause.
The Knights would again like to thank the Norwalk
Community for helping us support great
organizations like this, and the young people of
Norwalk who work very hard to give back. Please
join us for a delicious breakfast!

Theft — 1 100 block Maple Drive. Cash was reported
stolen from a residence. Information was taken and
a report made. Investigation remains active at this
time.
Vehicle Crash — 100 block Sunset Drive. Vehicle
driven by Kevin Mann, Martensdale, collided with a
deer. Information was taken and a report forwarded
to the Iowa Department of Transportation.
December 28, 2019
Warrant Arrest Hwy 5 99 mile marker. Lynn
Downey, Indianola, was arrested on an active
Indianola Criminal Mischief warrant. Subject was
processed and turned over to Warren County
authorities.

December 29, 2019
Drug Violation/ Suspended Driver/ Warrants —
Hwy 5 103 mile marker. Keneathea Williams, Des
Moines, was arrested and charged with Possession
of Marijuana, and Driving While License Suspended.
Williams also had a valid Franklin County OWI
warrant and a valid Polk County Forgery and Theft.
warrant. Subject was processed and turned over to,
Polk County authorities.
December 30, 2019
Impaired Driver — Lakewood Dr & Wakonda Cir.
Melinda Mulvihill, Norwalk, was arrested and
charged with Operating While Intoxicated. Subject
was processed and transported to the Warren County
jail.
January 1, 2020
Vehicle Crash Sunset Drive & North Ave. Vehicle
driven by Mark Miller, Winterset, collided with a
vehicle driven by Robert Jones, Lenox, IA. Miller was
issued a citation for a Stop Sign violation. Information
was taken and a report forwarded to the Iowa
Department of Transportation. , . ,
