N/Warren Town and Coun News Thursday, January 15, 2009 I NEIGHBORHOOD NOTES I Kyle Frank Kyle Frank of Norwalk, has a lead role in Roald Dahl's "Willy Wonka," a new musical being per- formed at The Des Moines Playhouse Kate Goldman Children's Theatre from Friday, Jan. 16, through Sunday, Feb. 8. The show is recommended for ages 8 and up. The Norwalk youth plays the part of Charlie; and his sister, Alexis Frank, plays Matilda, a friend of Charlie, as well as a squirrel in Wonka's Nut Room. Other cast members are Mark Maddy as Willy Wonka, Aaron Primrose as Augustus, Dane Van Brocklin as Mike, Halen Becker as Violet and Jen- nifer Jacobson as Veruca. The show is directed by Todd Buchacker, with cho- reography by David Decker and musical direc- tion by Brenton Brown. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for stu- dents, with discounts of- fered for Playhouse season ticket holders. January. 3 Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of Orchard Hills Drive to investigate a Property Damage Acci- dent. Vehicle driven by Ivy Savanah Walker, 25, of Norwalk struck a parked vehicle owned by John Charles Jorres, 48, of Pleas- ant Hill. Officer was dispatched to the 2700 block of Georgetown Avenue to in- vestigate a Property Dam- age Accident. Vehicle d riwen by Sean Collin Scieszinski, 21, of Nor- walk struck a parked ve- hicle owned by Marjorie Elizabeth Krahn, 50, of Norwalk. Janua 4 Officer was dispatche d to the 700 block of Ashwood Drive to inves- tigate a Harassment re- port. Case closed. No charges at this time. Janua 5 Officer was dispatched to the 2000 block of Norwood Drive to inves- tigate a Domestic Distur- bance. Arrested and charged with Domestic Assault and Illegal Posses- sion of Prescription Drugs was James Allen Gardner, 29, of Norwalk. Officer was dispatched to the 9100 block of Old Orchard Drive to investi- gate a Burglary report. Case is pending further investigative leads. January 6 While on routine pa- trol, officer initiated a traf- fic stop and Darrell Lee Einertson, 36, of Des Moines was arrested and charged with OWI 1st. Officer arrested Nicho- las Webb Cobb, 27, of Des Moines on a warrant for Wanton Neglect. _7 Officer arrested Nathan Caine McConnell, 20, of Des Moines on a war- rant for Assault with In- jury. January. 8 Officer was dispatched to the 900 block of Sunset Drive to investigate an Assault report. Case is currently under investi- gation. Officer was dispatched to the 9200 block of Elmcrest Drive to investi- gate a Theft report. Case is pending further investi- gative leads.
