REJECT BRIDGE REMOVAL BIDS
WHEREAS. a bid letting was conducted on December 16. 2008. on Warren
County Project L-2672--73-91, a bridge removal project over South River on Elk
Horn Street west of $31 Hwy, and:

WHEREAS, the Iowa Department of Transportation has presented Agreement
No. 5-08-HBP-016 in regard to Project No. BRS-C091 (78)0-91 for the bridge
replacement over Middle River on R57 Hwy just south of Spring Hill, Iowa; now,
BE IT RESOLVED on a motion by Marvin Grace, second by Doug Shull, that
Agreement No. 5-08-HBP-016 be approved and the Chair be authorized to sign
the same on behalf of Warren County. Carried unanimously.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Warren County. Board of Supervisors hereby move
to close the public portion of the zoning hearing. Carded unanimously.
RESOLUTION 08 - 545 APPROVE RNAL PLAT
BE IT RESOLVED THA T , the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby move
to approve the final plat of Holland Estates Plat #1 submitted by Samuel L.
Holland Sr. and Raeome S. Holland. 2758 113 = Avenue, Norwalk, Iowa 50211.
Carried unanimously.
RESOLUTION 08-546 CLOSE PUBLIC HEARING
BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby move
to close the public 0ortion of the hearing. Carried unanimously.
RESOLUTION 08-547 REVISED ZONING AND SUBDIVISION
ORDINANCES
BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby move
to approve changes to the Warren County Master Plan for Future Land Use.

are on pages 27 and 30. On page 27, Chapter 3, FUTURE LAND USE AND
GROWTH MANAGEMENT GOALS AND POLICIES, Environmental Issues, Add:
Promote alternative energy uses (i.e. wind. solar, and hie). On page 30, Chapter
3, Add: Historic Preservation-means that the County has certain sites or areas
that are of historical nature along with building and uses located on those sites.
The goal is to preserve and protect these sites throughout the County. Carried
unanimously.
RESOLUTION 08 - 548 CLOSE PUBLIC HEARING
BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby move
to close the public portion of the hearing. Carried unanimously.
RESOLUTION 08-549 REVISED ZONING AND SUBDIVISION
ORDINANCES
BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby move
to approve the change and waive the multiple reading requirements, The amend-
ment on Page 183 Chapter 41, Section 41,02 A-1 DISTRICT REGULATIONS, [5]
Permitted Accessory Uses, Add L. Wind generators for private use with maxi-
mum tower height of ninety (90) feet and a maximum size of (30) kw, and the
tower shall be located at least 110% of the tower height from all property and
right-of-way lines. Carried unanimously.
RESOLUTION 08 - 550 CLOSE PUBLIC HEARING
BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby move
to close the public portion of the hearing, Carried unanimously.
RESOLUTION 08 - 551 REVISED ZONING AND SUBDIVISION
ORDINANCES
BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby move
to approve the changes and waive the multiple reading requirements. Amend-
ment is on Page 190 Chapter 41. Section 41.04 PR-1 DISTRICT REGULATIONS.

maximum tower height of fifty (50) feet and a maximum size of twenty (20) kw,
and the tower shall be located at least sixty (60) feet from all property and right-

ZONING CERTIFICATES:BUILDING PERMITS. [2] Fees. Delete: Accessory use
is a detached garage or pole building, signs, etc. Add: Accessory use is a
detached garage or pole building, signs, wind generator for pdvate use. etc.

ORDINANCES
BE IT RESOLVED THAT. the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby move
to approve a proposed change by the Warren County Zoning Director to the
October 9. 2007. Warren County Iowa, Revised Zoning and Subdivision Ordi-
nances. Warren County is adopting a new FEMA digital map for floodplain
regulation and updating current Chapter 45. FLOODPL.IN MANAGEMENT to
the State of Iowa standard regulations. Carried unanimously,

to approve the Chapter 47, a new HISTORIC PRESERVATION ORDINANCE and
to change the word NO to NOR in Section 6. paragraph 2 and to waive the
multiple reading requirements. Carried unanimously.
