BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the public hearing regarding Amendments to Warren
County Code of Ordinances Chapter 3 General Assistance Program is hereby

RESOLUTION 14-14 APPROVE CODE OF ORDINANCES AMENDMENTS
TO CHAPTER 3 GENERAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors waives the 2nd
and 3~ reading of the amendments to Chapter 3 General Assistance Program in
the Warren County Code of Ordinances and hereby approves the amendments to
Chapter 3 General Assistance in the Warren County Code of Ordinances.

RESOLUTION 14-15 APPROVAL OF AMENDMENTTO INCOME AND AS-
SISTANCE GUIDELINES
BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby ap-
proves the Amendment to Income and Assistance Guidelines for Chapter 3,
General Assistance Program, Warren County Code of Ordinances.subject to
ordinances being published. Carried unanimously
RESOLUT ION 14-16ATEMPORARY HIRE SECONDARY ROAD DEPARTMENT
BE IT RESOLVED, to hire Cory Vail, temporary part time, effective November 5,
2013 for no more than six months, at $16.88 per hour in the Secondary Road .
Department as part time winter seasonal help. Due to the nature of the tempo-
rary part time employment, he will not be eligible for any benefits. Carried
unanimously
RESOLUTION 14-16B REMOVE FROM PAYROLL CONSERVATION
BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby ac-
cepts the resignation of Bob Killmar, a seasonal/temporary employee from Con-
servation effective December 6, 2013, and to remove from payroll. Employee was
not eligible for, benefits; therefore there will be no payout. Carried unanimously
RESOLUTION 14-16C APPROVE NEW HIRES HEALTH SERVICES
BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby ap-
proves Shawna Snuggs, Maternal Child Health Coordinator in Health Services
effective December 31,2013, as a regular full time employee at Grade t5, Step 1,
at the hourly rate of $21.80 and is eligible to receive benefits; AND
BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby ap-
proves Kate Honer, 1= Five Coordinator- Social Worker in Health Services effec-
tive December 23, 2013, as a regular full time employee at Grade 15, Step 1, at
the hourly rate of $21.80 and is eligible to receive benefits. Carded unanimously
RESOLUTION 14-16D NEW HIRE ATTORNEYS OFFICE
BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby ap-
proves hire of Amy Schnathorst, Collections Administrator in Attorneys Office
effective December 26, 2013, as a regular full time employee, at $38,000.00
annually and is eligible to receive benefits. Carried unanimously
RESOLUTION 14-16E APPROVE GRANT AGREEMENT CITY OF NORWALK
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board'of Supervisors hereby ap-
proves Grant Agreement with the City of Norwalk for Economic Development.

RESOLUTION 14-16F1 AMENDMENTTO RESOLUTION 13-105
BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby move
to approve the hiring of Mary Jean Furler as Warren County Administrator effec-
tive May 30, 2013 with a starting salary of $3,326.31 bi-weeldy, after her 6 month
review she will be eligible for a 3% pay increase. Carried unanimously
RESOLUTION 14-16[=2 CORRECTION OF RESOLUTION 13-245D
BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby ap-
proves a salary adjustment effective November 25, 2013 for Mary Jean Furler,
County Administrator in the amount of $3,492.63 bi-weekly based on 6 month
merit per agreement upon hire. Carried unanimously
RESOLUTION 14-16G ABATEMENT OFTAXES
BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby ap-

BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby ap-

Case Management Department is hereby approved, effective January 1,2014:

STERS LOCAL UNION #238
BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby ap-
proves the Tentative Agreement with Teamsters Local Union 238 as presented.

RESOLUTION 14-18 AFSCME CONTRACT MODIFICATION
BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby ap-
proves the modification of the current Collective Bargaining Agreement with
AFSCME Council #61, July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2015. Carded unani-
mously
RESOLUTION 14-19 MOBILE CRISIS RESPONSE TEAM PROGRAM
BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby ap-
proves implementation of the Mobile Crisis ResponseTeam (MCRT) Program to
be funded by the Mental Health Budget. Carried unanimously.
The Supervisors gave reports of their previous week's activities.The As-
sistant County Attorney gave the County Attorney's Reports.The next regu-
lar meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 21at, 2014 at 9:30 a.m.
Upon proper motion the meeting was adjourned at 10:00a.m.

Pears Take Center Plate With One-Pan Meals
(NAPS)--Weeknight meals
can be both convenient and
flavorful with simple one-pan
recipes. The trick is to build
meals from ingredients that
are versatile and can com-
plement their "pan-mates."

savory dishes. Pears pair well
with chicken, pork and fish and
make a great addition to fam-
ily favorites such as pizza or
grilled sandwiches.
Consider adding pears to
your meals for both extra fla-
vor and nutrition. They are
an excellent source of fiber
and a good source of vitamin
C. This appetizing recipe
shows off the pear's flavor

Crispy Chicken Cutlets
with Pears and Shallots
4 small boneless,
skinless chicken
breasts
Salt and freshly
ground black pepper
1A cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons
extra-virgin olive oil,
divided
3 tablespoons unsalted
butter, divided
2 shallots, thinly sliced
2 USA Pears, peeled,
cored and cut in
V~-inch dice
¾ cup chicken stock
Juice of I lemon
1 teaspoon Dijon
mustard
4 ~u~ finely
chopped fresh thyme
(about 4 sprigs)
2 tablespoons com:sely
chopped fiat-leaf
parsley
