Learn@Your Library: Love Your World & Recycle,
10-11 a.m. Minimize garbage going to the landfills by
learning what and how to recycle materials. Leslie
Holsapple, Program Coordinator for Metro Waste, will
offer tips for safe, smart purchasing, storing, recycling
and disposal for "zero waste" strategies.
Monday, Feb. 3
Book Buddies, 6-7 p.m. Mondays through February
24, high school and elementary (K-3rd) students pair up
for an hour of reading and crafts. High school students
can earn up to four hours of volunteer credit. Registra-
tion is required for all participants. Space is limited.
Tuesday, Feb. 4
Pre-School Story Time, 10:30-11 a.m. For 3-6 year-
olds, join us for stories, finger plays, songs and flannel
boards! Parents, expect some interaction with your little
ones and helpful tips on early literacy skills you can
use at home. This storytime is also a good fit for par-
ents attending with several children and for daycare
groups.
Novel Year Book Club, 6-8 p.m. Join the Novel Year
Book Club and make new friends, experience new
places and embark on new journeys. Novel Year is a
series of programs featuring six novels throughout 2014.
Programs consist of: 1) Discussing the book with a fa-
cilitator, 2) Watching the movie version of the book, and
3) Enjoying a program related to the book. Registration

thers," by James Bradley.
Wednesday, Feb. 5
Take a Break, 10:30-11:15 a.m. For adults and
preschoolers, join us in this collaborative program. Con-
nect with other adults who take care of preschoolers -
sharing ideas and getting resources or short programs,
while the kids do age-appropriate activities that encour-
age purposeful play and child development. Adults will
also get a chance to play! Snacks and read-aloud starts
promptly at 10:30. Meets Wednesdays through April
30 (except for March 5).
Kids' Lego Club, 2-3 p.m. Join us for lots of fun and
to make your own Lego creation! All Legos are pro-
vided by the library. Ages Kindergarten - 4th grade.

the Application for Condemnafion filed with the Chief Judge of the Fifth

2. That such condemnation is sought for usa in accordance with the
WRA Southern Tier Interceptor, Phase 10, Segment 15-17 Project.
3. That a Compensation Commission has been appointed, as provided
by law, for the purpose of appraising the damages which will be caused

4. That the Compensation Commission will, on the 12th day of February,
2014 at 9:00 A.M., meet in the Office of the Shedff of Warren County, 115
N. Howard Street, !ndlanola, Iowa, and wilt then proceed to view the
properties and to assess end appraise the damages, at which time you
may appear before the Commissioners tl you care to do so.
5. That the Compensation Commission is required to meet in open
session (open to the public) to view the property being condemned and to
receive evidence, but may deliberate In closed session, as provided by
Section 6B.14 of the Iowa Code.
