Sergeant Edward Kuhl
has completed the U.S.
Army Basic Noncommis-
sioned Officer Course at
the 209 th Regiment Head-
quartered at Camp
Ashland, NE. SGT Kuhl is
a member of the 938 th Mili-
tary Police Detachment of
the Indiana National
Guard. SGT Kuhl is pre-
paring for his second de-
ployment to Iraq, third ca-
reer deployment and is an
18-year veteran. Kuhl and
his wife Erin have four
sons. They reside in Saint
Joseph, MI where he and
his wife serve as Deputy

ate of Norwalk High
School in 2003, plans to be
home on leave for the first
half of February.
McDonald is a combat
medic with the Scout/
Sniper Recon PLT. He will
return to COP Najil, in the
Afghan mountains, in
mid-February to rejoin his
team for another six
months. The Outpost is
manned by less than 100
soldiers and has seen the
most combat of the battal-
ion. He was injured in a
roadside bombing earlier
in the month. Luckily he
is fine and we can't wait for
him to come home.
