To be honored, undergraduates must have earned a mini- mum 3.50 GPA for the se- mester and be enrolled as a full-time student. Listed from Norwalk were Kurt Behrens, Jacklyn Couchman, Kyle Hansen, Darren Marasco and Dawn Petersen-Rios. From Indianola were Adis Deljkic, Stacy Liebsch and Mary Poindexter. More than 5,430 Iowa State University under- graduates in Ames have been recognized for out- standing academic achievement by being named to the 2009 fall se- mester Dean's List. Students named to the Dean's List must have earned a grade point aver- age of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work. Included was Abigail Moeller, Norwalk, major- ing in Kinesiology and Health. ................................... Several area students have been named to the President's List at Mercy College of Health Sciences in Des Moines. To qualify for the President's List, students must attain a grade point average of 3.75 or higher in their most recent semester for a minimum of six credit hours. From Norwalk are Ruth Coady, BS in H.ealth Care Administration; Heather Fels, EMT-P Certificate; Renae Vandermark, BS in Nursing. From Indianola are Amanda McCombs, BS in Nursing and Jessica loss, Certificate in Polysomnographic Tech- nology. Also, Alysia Grant, New Virginia, BS in Nurs- ing. Those who qualified for the Dean's List attained a grade point average be- tween 3.5 and 3.749 in their most recent semester for a minimum of six credit hours. Included from Norwalk were Eric Delker and Troy Fick, EMT-P Certificate; Trisha Masten, Certificate in Nuclear Medicine, and Renee Moulton, BS in Nursing. From Indianola were Daniel Bray and Natascha Georgeff, BS in Nursing; Kasey Button, Associate of Science in Nursing; Donald Minks II and Christopher Petrick, EMT- P Certificate. Norwalk Family Tae Kwon Do recently had several outstanding stu- dents. They are: July 2009 Tony Hansen, a blue belt; August 2009 Carson Farrell, yellow belt with green stripe and Septem- ber 2009 Nick Huegerich, a yellow belt. These stu- dents attend class 70% of the time. They have im- proved on the forms, kick- ing and other technique and have helped teach class or forms.
