Wellness Challenge
Health and wellness goals are a top priority in 2014 for nearly 28,000 Iowans.
Individuals have teamed up with friends, family or c0-workers and are taking part
in Live Healthy Iowa's 13th annual 10 Week Wellness Challenge. This healthy com-
petition encourages Iowans to track activity minutes and/or weight loss to move
their team up the challenge leaderboard. Registration will remain open through Feb-
ruary 28 for those who would still like to team up and join the challenge!
The 10 Week Wellness Challenge is a simple and affordable challenge encourag-
ing Iowans to make active and nutritious choices. Over the course of 10 weeks, teams
take part in friendly competition tracking activity minutes and/or weight loss on
their personal dashboard through the Live Healthy Iowa website. For $20, each par-
ticipant will receive an official 10 Week Wellness Challenge t-shirt, a one-year sub-
scription to a wellness magazine of choice, exclusive discounts at businesses state-
wide and chances to win a four night tropical cruise for two, gift cards, bikes, fitness
shoes, plus 6ther great prizes! Challenge participants will have unlimited access to
an abundance of wellness resources on Live Healthy Iowa's website such as healthy
recipes, workouts and a personal tracking page where they can track their progress,
message teammates, set goals and much more.
