Doors open at 6:15 p.m. and thegame begins at 7:00 p.m. Get your friends and family together in teams of 6 to 8 people, or we can assign you to a team. It will be a fun night with prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams as well as attendance drawings, a birthday survivor game, and an optional best individualteam costume and best team theme prizes. Churchville Shrine Spaghetti Dinner The Churchville Assumption shrine Hall, in Churchville, will hold its annual All-You Can Eat Italian Spaghetti & Meatball Dinner, on Sunday, February 24, 2019. The dinner will be served from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. There will also be silent auction items available to bid on. Owner & Director [ In Our Care [ m [ Curt Lankford [ Age 74, Norwalk / www.olearyfunerals.com 1020 Main Street, Norwalk (515) 981-0700 Curtis Lankford, 74, Norwalk, died peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday afternoon, February 9th, 2019 in the comfort of his Lakewood home. Curtis James Lankford was born in Dewitt, Michigan on August 3rd, 1944 to George Hampton Lankford and Elleyn June (Gray) Lankford. He was a welcome late surprise to his older siblings, Lewis & Dorothy Lankford, Gerald & Jacqueline Lankford, and Janet and Albert Shulz, who spoiled him with love. Because of the difference in ages, some of his earliest partners in crime were his nephews, Marry and Randy. Curtis met the love of his life and forever girIfriend, Jeannette Rosemary (R0mine) Lankford at a frat party at Central Michigan University. They were married on August 14th, 1964 and moved from Lansing, Michigan to Norwalk, Iowa in 1974. The couple was blessed with two children, Jennifer (Steven) Van Kerckvoorde and Craig (Lisa) Lankford. The children thought they were spoiled until Curtis met his grandchildren Dylan VanKerckvoorde, Zach Liter, Tyrus Lankford, Thomas Lankford, Sophia Van Kerckvoorde, and Leo Lankford. Our father lived his dreams with the love of his life and family by his side. He traveled ex- tensively, spending many winters in Kauai, summers hiking in mountains or fishing in Canada or hunting The last 10 years he spent working with Soap Box Derby on a local and national level. His cabin in the woods, built by his family and friends, was his place of peaceful reflection and his most beloved place. Curt lived 74 years, 6 months, and 6 days. He waspreceded in death by his parents; and wife, Jeannette Rosemary Lankford on December 25, 2016; and all of his siblings: He is-survived by his two children both of Norwalk: Jennifer (Steven) VanKerck- voorde and Craig (Lisa) Lankford; his grand- children, Dylan Van Kerckvoorde, Zach Liter, Tyrus Lankford, Thomas Lankford, Sophia Van Kerckvoorde, and Leo Lankford; his two nephews, Marty and to Curtis and he taught :Randy Lankford; and a his family this wonderful niece, Kim Lankford. lesson daily.
