This session will run through March 17. Place: Norwalk Public Safety Building; Time: Thursdays, 1:30-3 p.m. WELL SEASONED POTLUCK (The meat as well as the people) All are invited, age 55 and older, to attend a potluck dinner to enjoy and socialize with the Park and Recre- ation staff. Meat, tableware and coffee/beverage are pro- vided. Dust off the cookbooks and be creative to bring a side dish and/or dessert to share with everyone. After the meal we wilt have some form of entertainment from local talent. Let us know your email address and we will send out reminders with what meat we plan to have on that day. Not quite as spry as you used to be, We invite you to try the game of Wii bowling. This game mimics actions performed in real *Friends and Family Eighth Annual Snowman Contest* This contest will run through the end of March. Points will be awarded for creativity and originality. Prizes will be awarded to the top place finisher per division. Take a picture of your snowman with its creators and send it to the Parks and Recreation office. Be sure to include names, ages and phone numbers of the participants. The first name listed will receive notice of any winnings. FAMILY BINGO NIGHT Stop by the library and enjoy an evening of Bingo and tasty treats. Bring munchies or snacks to share with all and we will provide the beverage. All ages are in- vited to participate. Bingo callers will be the Norwalk Lion Club Members. Registration: Phone call to office by Friday prior to the Sunday. Norwalk Parks and Recreation in conjuhcti6n'with the Norwhlk Schools have agreed to hold the high school soccer games out at the Norwalk/McAninch Sports complex this spring. Keeping this in mind, we had to reschedule some of our programs. We will have 1+t-7th grade season first, beginning the end of March. The PreK and Kin- dergartners will be second, starting the middle of May. STEP BENCH AEROBICS Step bench aerobics is a low impact, high-energy aero- bic routine set to music. Participants use a step bench 'that is provided to help increase the heart rate. YOGA CLASS Yoga is for everyone[ It increases strength, flexibility, and balance for both body and mind. Regular yoga prac- tice can help to improve circulation, digestion and pos- ture, stimulate the immune system, decrease stress level, boost self-esteem and create a sense of calmness and well-being. CIRCUIT SENSATION Are you ready for this new workout that is athletic, intense and more fun than a three-ring circus? Using the motivational power of teamwork and competition in combination with the balance challenges presented by the Bosu balance workout, you will discover how to change ordinary circuit workouts into extraordinary workouts.
