Warren County Sheriff’s Report

February 13th
Linn Township —- fraudulent activity. Kari Morrissey, 38, rural Warren
County,
reported fraud by psychic.
February 17th
Greenfield Township — assault. Jon Samuelson, 39, rural Warren County,
was
arrested for domestic assault and drug charges.

February 16th
21:50, 8000 block Hwy 28: Tayler Walker, Bellevue, NE, was traveling
southbound in the 8000 block of Hwy 28. The weather at this time was heavy
snow with blowing snow and low visibility. The roadway was snow covered,
slick
and driving conditions were difficult. Walker lost control entering a
curve, entered
the ditch, struck an electrical pole, and broke the guide wire to the pole.
The
vehicle sustained an estimated $10000 to the front and passenger side. The
vehicle
was towed to Bussanmas Towing in Bevington.
February 19th
16:20, US 69 and 120th Ave: Tobi Bailey, Booneville, was traveling
southbound
on Hwy 69 approaching 120th Ave. Paige Huntley, Indianola, was traveling
southbound on Hwy 69 approaching 120th Ave. Bailey was going to turn left
onto 120th Ave, but had to come to a stop to yield to a bus traveling
northbound
on Hwy 69. Huntley was watching the bus and did not see that Bailey had
come
to a stop at 120th Ave. Huntley struck the rear of Bailey’s vehicle.
Bailey pulled
off to the right shoulder. Huntley came to rest in the roadway.
21:21, G024/Hwy G24: Alissa Pattee, Cumming, was traveling westbound on
G24 Hwy in 11000 block. Deer enters roadway and Pattee strikes deer causing
disabling damage to front passenger side of the vehicle. Pattee uninjured.
Airbags
did not deploy. Vehicle was privately towed by Auberts Towing.
22:00, 13000 block R45: Isaac Gavin, Saint Charles, was traveling south on
R45 Hwy. Gavin lost traction on the snow COVered and slick roads and
entered
the east ditch. The vehicle rolled onto its top. The vehicle came to rest
on top of
a woven wire fence causing damage to the fence. Estimated damage to vehicle
is
$5000. Estimated damage to the fence is $500. Vehicle was towed privately
by
Busanmas Towing‘out of Bevington, Iowa.
