Carried unanimously RESOLUTION 15-37 CLOSE PUBLIC HEARING SALE OF COUNTY OWNED REAL ESTATE Page Eleven BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby ap- proves to close the public hearing portion of the meeting regarding sale of inter- est in county owned real estate. Carried unanimously RESOLUTION 15-38 APPROVE SALE OF COUNTY'S INTEREST IN CER- TAIN REAL ESTATE BE IT RESOLVED THAT, Warren County, by the Warren County Board of Super- visors, sell/convey Warren County's interest in the following legally described real estate located in Warren County, Iowa: The 12 foot wide North-South alleyway adjacent to the East boundary of Outlot 6, Auditor's Plat of Outlots, Prole, Warren County, Iowa, to Teresa Valenta for $100.00 plus publication costs and authorizing the Board Chairperson to sign appropriate documents to effectuate the sale/conveyance. Carried unanimously Marilyn Hatterman questioned whether it is the responsibility of the homeowner or the contractor to pay any fees associated with additional follow-up. RESOLUTION 15-40 CLOSE PUBLIC HEARING PUBLIC HEALTH ORDI- NANCE CHAPTER 31 BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby closes the public hearing portion of the meeting regarding fee structure changes to Public Health Ordinance Chapter 31 On-Site Westewater Treatment and Dis- posal Systems. Carried unanimously RESOLUTION 15-41 PUBLIC HEALTH ORDINANCE CHAPTER 31 BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby ap- prove fee structure changes to Public Health Ordinance Chapter 31 On-Site Wastewater Treatment and Disposal Systems. Carried unanimously Tom Akers of Greenfield Plaza questioned the cost of Greenfield Plaza study. HSB104 will help expand high-speed Internet access to areas of Iowa that are underserved with low speeds and facilitates investments to projects that prioritize connecting Iowa farms, schools and communities. HSB98 creates a new tax incentive for businesses that produce chemicals from biomass feed stocks--most of which is either wasted or fed to animals. Many indus- trial facilities in Iowa produce food and fuel products from corn, soybeans and other renewable products, but those products can be further processed into end-use consumer products like plastics, pharmaceuticals, paints or textiles. This Bill goes to the Ways & Means Commit- tee. HF162 promotes the use of emerging technology to convert solid waste through plasma gasification into energy. HSB208 directs the DNR to create regional recycling processing centers in large communities and encourage small communities to deliver recyclables to such centers.
