Thursday, March 13, 2014 N/Warren Town and County News Page Five I CHURCH and SOCIAL 1 PARKS & REC HOLDS 2ND ANNUAL DADDY/DAUGHTER DANCE The City of Norwalk Parks & Rec held the 2nd An- nual Daddy/Daughter Dance Frida35 Feb. 28, at Lake- wood Elementary. Over 150 dads and their daughters were in attendance. Dinner was provided by Andy Mogle's Culinary Arts class Ice cream was also a fa- vorite from Wendy's Ice Cream! After dinner and treats, the "couples" took to the dance floor with music and dancing provided by the NHS Dance Team A great night was enjoyed by all! May Delivery Linn Grove Meal Members of Linn Grove United Methodist Church, 7483 50th, Prole, will host their "free-will offering" dinner Thursday, March 13, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church. Meals can be dine- in or carry out. The menu is chicken and rice casserole, fresh veggies, rolls and home- made desserts. There is no cost for the meal, but a free-will offering will be accepted. Feather Fair Sunda35 March 23, Mid America Cage Bird Society will host a Feather Fair at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $4 for adults and children 8 and under are free.
