Carried Unanimously RESOLUTION 12-73B CORRECTIONTO RES 12-43C BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby ap- proves to change the hours of Dixie Neer, Site Manager/Cook from 7 hours per day to 6 Va hours per day with insurance deductions remaining the same as before, and vacation/sick leave to be adjusted according to the 6.5 hours per day effective February 20, 2012; AND BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby approves to change the hours of Judy Despenas, Site ManagedCook from 7 hors per day to 6 V2 hours per day with insurance deductions remaining the same as before and vacation/sick leave to be adjusted according to the 6.5 hours per day effective February 20, 2012. Carried Unani- mously RESOLUTION 12-73C RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby wishes to extend their appreciation to Indianola Fire Chief Brian Seymour and the Indianola Fire :)epartment for all they did in fighting the DHS fire in December 2011. Carried Unanimously RESOLUTION 12-74 MHDD MEDICATION POLICY REVISION BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby ap- proves the MHDD Medication Policy Revision with an additional step to the policy. Carried Unanimously RESOLUTION 12-75 FUNDING FOR NECESSITY PANTRY BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby ap- proves the request from Health Services to approve the allocation of $3000.00 funding for the Necessity Pantry for Warren County. Carried Unanimously RESOLUTION 12-76A RIGHT OF WAY CONTRACT BE iT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby ap- proves the Right-of-Way Contract between Eric 8, Darla Weinberg and Warren County regarding Project No. L-160F--73-91 in the amount of $607.32 for Road- way Easement. Carried Unanimously RESOLUTION 12-81 ADOPT CHANGES IN CODE OF ORDINANCES/WAIVE MULTIPLE HEARINGS BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby ap- proves to adopt the changes in the Code of Ordirlances, Chapter 31, Onsite Wastewater Treatment and Disposal Systems AND to waive multiple heanngs in this matter. Carried Unanimously RESOLUTION 12-82 CONVENE PUBLIC NEARING BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby ap- proves to convene the Public Hearing regarding the Road Vacation of 15 th Ave. Carried Unanimously RESOLUTION 12-83 CLOSE PUBLIC HEARING BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby ap- proves to close the Public Headng regarding 15 t" Ave, and go back into regular session. Carried Unanimously RESOLUTION 12-84 ROAD VACATIONWHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 306 of the Code of Iowa, whereby the Board of Supervisors may vacate and close a road in the interest of the public; and, WHEREAS, a public hearing was held in the Board of Supervisor's meeting room, Warren County Administration Building at 10:00 a.m., February 21,2012 and March 6, 2012, in regard to vacating and closing the following described sections of road: All that portion of 15 t" Avenue Public Highway Right-of-Way (66 feet in width) immediately adjacent to and parallel with the Interstate Hwy. 35 East Right-of- Way Line from the South Right-of-Way Line of County Hwy. G14 to the North Right-of-Way of Coolidge Street all included in and forming a part of Section 18, Township 77 North, Range 25 West of the 5 " P.M., Warren County, Iowa. WHEREAS, proponents and opponents of the proposed closures were given the opportunity to be heard; and, WHEREAS, the Chairman asked for any written objections to or support of the said closures; now, BE IT RESOLVED on a motion by Steve Wilson, second by Dean Yordi, that the above described sections of road be officially vacated and closed and Be It Resolved by Warren County that the said part of the present right of way herein described together with any and all rights of Warren County in and to the same are hereby abandoned, and Warren County hereby disclaims any right, title or interest in and to said parts of present right of way or to the use thereof for any purpose whatsoever, with any existing utilities retaining the right to remain in abandoned road right ol way, as per Iowa Code Section 306. Car- ried Unanimously The next regular meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. Upon proper motion the meeting was adjourned at 11:37 a.m. ATTEST: AUDITOR, Traci VanderLinden CHAIR OFFICIAL PUBLICATION Notice of Public Meeting Lakewood Infrastructure Study And Capital Improvement Planning The City of Norwalk is conductingan Infrastructwevaluation St ucl.y of the Lake- ` wood District. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the condition of the infra- structure including; Sanitary Sewer System, Water System, Storm Sewer Sys- tem, and Roadway Network. The study will identity needed repairs, replace- ments, and upgrades of the infrastructure. The overall objective of this planning process is to aid the City in developing a Capital Improvement Program for the Lakewood District and develop policies which may be applied "City Wide" as Norwalk continues to plan for and improve our public infrastructure. As part of the capital improvement planning the City will be developing financing strategies to pay for the improvements and assessing the effect of the cost on the city budget, the property tax payers, the utility customers, and the property owners. A Public Information meeting will be held at City Hall on March 22, 2012 from 5:00PM - 6:30PM. General information about the study will be presented to the participants and the public will be allowed to ask questions. The City is planning to form a Focus Group compdsed of elected officials, city staff, and citizens. This Focus Group will participate in the study through a series of meetings to be held approxi- mately every 2 months throughout the process. Participants in the public meet- ing on March 22  may place their name on a list of potential volunteers to par- ticipate in the Focus Group. Nitrogen is the predomi- nard element in the Earth's atmosphere, compared to helium on Mercury, carbon dioxide on Venus and Mars, and hydrogen on Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. Pluto's elements are methane and nitrogen.
