LUNDY FITZGERALD Helen Josephine Lundy Fitzgerald, 94, passed away Saturda)~ March 14, surrounded by her family in Glenwood. Services were held Saturdaj March 21, at Merle Hay Funeral Home in Des Moines, with burial at Chapel Hill Gar- dens. She was born Septem- ber 25, 1920 in Knoxville to John and Alberta Enis. Helen graduated from Melcher Dallas High School: In 1944, she mar- ried Melvin Lundy. They farmed south of Cumming for several years. Helen worked over 20 years at the Meredith Publishing Company and in 1971, she "graduated from the School of Practical Nursing in Des Moines. She worked as an LPN at the VA Hospital in Des Moines until her re- tirement. She continued to work as a home healthcare nurse for several years while she lived in Indianola. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Melvin E. Lundy; her second hus- band, Gerald Thomas Fitzgerald; and her sib- lings, Leland, Clifford Lee, Paul, Dean and Bonnie June Brundage. She is survived by her Helen J. Lundy Fitzgerald two daughters, Carol Willison and husband, Max Lynn of Glenwood, where she resided until her death, and Charlotte Johnson and husband, Greg of Wichita, KS; seven grandchildren, Chris, Todd, Michelle, Doug, Scan, Barb and Laurie; 12 great-grandchildren; and her nieces and nephews artd other relatives. Juanita Hendrickson Brad Duncan Age 88 of Norwalk Age 53 of Cumming Herbert Lewellen Erma Schrage Age 87 of Ankeny Age 91 of Fontanelle 1020 Main Street, Norwalk (515) 981-0700 OBITUARY BRADLEY JOHN DUNCAN Bradley John Duncan, son of John DeVol and Audrey Idelle (Moreland) Duncan, was born in Fort Madison, August 8, 1961 and moved to Ottumwa in 1965. Brad died Wednes- day, March 18, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Services were Saturday, March 21, at O'Leary Celebration of Life Center. Brad graduated Ottumwa High School in 1980. August 30, 1988, Brad married his high school sweetheart, Kathy Sue Hammond. To this union t-{vo sons were born, John David and Derek Steven. In 1985, Brad, Kathy and the boys moved to a family farm near Tipton. In 1990 they moved to the Birmingham, AL area, liv- ing there for 14 years, be- fore returning to Iowa. Brad and his wife owned and operated B&K Carpet Cleaning. He en- joyed hunting, fishing, camping, ATV riding and many outdoor activities. He was also quite the online "gamer." During his school years, he was active in band and music. Bradley John Duncan place in his heart for dogs, especially Brittany Span- iels, such as Duchess, Butch and Jed. He was a doting father and grandfa- ther. Children were always drawn to Brad, even if they did not know him very well. Those left to honor his memory are his wife, Kathy; sons, John (Katie) Duncan of Indianola and Derek of Hoover, AL; grandson, John Daniel; his mother, Audrey Duncan of Norwalk; his sister, Phyllis Duncan of Omaha; Kathy's parents, Lawrence and Carol Hammond, who thought of Brad as a son. He always had a special OBITUARY JUANITA HENDRICKSON Juanita Hendrickson, 88, Norwalk, died Satur- day, March 14, at Regency Care Center. Juanita was born Sep- tember 16, 1926 in Lincoln, IL, the daughter of the late Samuel S. and Nora Ethel (Wilson). She attended Cincinnati Bible Seminary for two years. It was at Cin- cinnati Bible Seminary where she met her life partner and husband, Min- ister Milton J. Hendrick- son. He preceded her in death June 1, 1999. Both Juanita and Milton devoted their lives to the Lord's work and were in- strurnental in starting new churches, preaching and teaching across the United States. As a devoted Chris- tian and Biblical Scholar, Juanita continuously served the Lord through- out her life, modeling her- self after Colossians 3:16, Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and ad- monishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Juanita is survived by her children: Dale (Cindi) Hendrickson of Cedar Falls, Brian (Lorie) Hen- drickson of Norwalk and Lorri (Fred) Phelps of San Tan Valley, AZ. Also, grandchildren, Zachary Hendrickson of Cedar Rapids, Kara Sand- erson of Cedar Falls, Lind- sey (Chris) Donahue of Juanita Hendrickson Norwalk, Lorin Hendrick- son of Temecula, CA, Larissa Hendrickson of Norwalk, Coady and Catey Phelps of San Tan Valley, AZ. Great-grand- children are Kloey and Emily Sanderson, William, Grace and Morgan Donahue and Payton Dickey. Also preceding her in death were her brothers and sister, Samuel Wilson Jr., Lowell Wilson, Richard Paul Wilson and Mary Lou Moore.
