Center recently moved to
their new location at 1326
Sunset Dr. They offer
grooming services and a
full vet clinic, including
medical and routine care.
Hours are Monday,
Tuesday and Wednesday,
7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.; Friday,
8 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturday
by appointment. They are
closed Thursday and Sun-
day. For more information,
contact the vet center at

A renowned Indianola
restaurant has made its
way into Norwalk. After
much anticipation (and an
unexpected delay), Winn's
Pizza & Steakhouse
opened its doors Wednes-
da)6 March 18, at 1611 Sun-
set Dr:
Owner Winn Nguyen
says the Norwalk menu
mirrors that of the
Indianola restaurant with
just a few minor tweaks.
Patrons can enjoy steak,
chicken, pork chops, sea-
food, pasta, homemade
egg rolls, sandwiches and
salads, along with their fa-
mous pizza and authentic
gyros. Daily specials are
also part of the menu.

A sign in the dining area

Winn has been in the
restaurant business for
more than 25 years. He
began at Best Steak House
in Des Moines in February
of 1990. In September of
2003, he opened Winn's
Pizza and Steak House on
the square in Indianola. He
had been looking to ex-
pand in Norwalk for some
time, so when Rosco's
came up for sale, he took
the opportunity.
The Nguyens brought
in all new kitchen equip-
ment, tables and chairs.
The dining area seats
about 75 people.

Steakhouse is open Tues-
day-Thursday, 11 a.m.-8
p.m.; Friday-Sa rday, 11
a.m.-9 p.m. and Sunda) 11
a.m.-8 p.m. They are
closed Mondays. The
menu can be dine-in or
