Disclaimer: All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. March 22nd Liquor Law Violation- Sunset Dr & North Ave. Dawson Farnham, Des Moines, was charged with Possession]Purchase Alcohol by Person Age 18/19/20. Subj ect was processed, cited and released to appear at a later time. Forgery - 8000 block Echo Dr. Resident reported a stolen check that had been forged. Information was taken and a report made. Case remains active at this time. March 23rd Criminal Mischief- 2300 block Avery. Resident reported a window damaged by a rock at their residence. Information was taken and a report made. March 25th Criminal Mischief- 1000 block North Ave. Picnic table was reported destroyed at a City park. Information was taken and a report made. Case remains under investigation. Fraud - Owatona, MN - Resident reported a wallet stolen while at a rest stop in Owatona, MN. He was notified about fraudulent activity on his stolen bank card at a gas station in Omaha. Information was taken and a report made. Case remains under investigation. March 26th Impaired Driver: 900 block East 17th St. Benjamin Ohrtman, Perry, was arrested and charged with Operating while Intoxicated, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Weapons Law Violation and Possession of Marijuana. Subject was processed and transported to the Warren County jail. March 27th Vehicle Crash - Hit and Run - Hwy 28 at Hwy 5 bypass. Unknown vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Danielle Lynn, Norwalk, and left the scene. Information was taken and a report forwarded to the Iowa Department of Transportation. March 28th Impaired Driver - Lakewood Dr & Old Orchard Dr. Mark Carey, Lacona, was arrested and charged with Operating while Intoxicated, Driving while Suspended, Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drugs, Open Container and No Insurance. Subject was processed and transported to the Warren County jail. Motor Vehicle Theft - 500 block North Ave. A pickup truck was stolen from the gas pump area of a local convenience store.Information was taken and a report made. The ability to create a Iowa Hemp Act program is based on the federal 2018 Federal Farm Bill which authorizes states to assume primary regulatory authority over the production of hemp by submitting a state plan for approval by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). HF 566 relates to criminal trespass while hunting, fishing, or trapping, and providing penalties. HF 599 relates to hunting by persons under the age of sixteen. SF 304 (HF660) relates to licensing sanctions against individuals who default or are delinquent on student loan debt or on a related service obligation. HF 734 relates to post-conviction DNA profiling procedure, HF 731 relates to mandatory child abuse and dependent adult abuse reporter training requirements HF 737 regulates persons involved with animals other than livestock and certain wild animals.
