I Thursday, April 22, 2010 N/Warren Town and County News Page Nine Norwalk Students Participate in Technology Fair The Iowa Technology Education Connection (ITEC) sponsored a Stu- dent Technology Fair for PK-12 students in Ames, Tuesday, April 13. This fair provides students with the opportunity to showcase their technology skills and projects. Based on rubric scores, students were awarded ribbons for their quality of the project and presentation to judges. Norwalk Middle School and Eastview 8/9 partici- pants included the follow- ing: Middle School: Paul Frederick, Programming- Fish Tank Monitor; Aleyna Moeller, Multimedia- Zigera; Jordyn Phipps, Graphic Collage; Ashlie VanGorder, Norwalk War- riors Webpage; Joe Vivone, Wolves Movie and Meghan Zug, Multimedia- The Music Man. Eastview 8/9: Katie Campbell, Graphic/Pub- lishing-Pictures and Po- ems; Nathan Coonrod, Computer Programming with Lego Robotics; Kaleb Dammier and Chris Higgins, 3D Rendering-3D City; Nick Huegerich, Pro- gramming-Calculator; Baylie Martin, Graphic/ Publishing-Hope and Tommy Scallon, Mulitmedia-Interactive Mouse Game. The exemplary entries are invited to showcase their project at the ITEC annual Conference in Coralville next fall. The following students re- ceived an exemplary award: Katie Campbell, Nathan Coonrod, Paul Frederick, Aleyna Moeller, Jordyn Phipps and Tommy Scallon.
