Students Parlicipatb in the Central Iowa Technology Fair
Students from Norwalk Middle School participated in the annual 2014 Iowa Tech-
nology Education Connection (ITEC) Tech Fair Tuesda) April 1. The projects dis-
played by the students were entered under the categories of programming and 3D
design. Two judges listened to the students present about their projects and viewed
the students' project and interesting uses of technology in a variety of applications
and topics. The projects were evaluated for quality, display of artifacts And the pre-
sentation of•learning. At the conclusion of the fair each student was presented a
ribbon for their accomplishments. All middle school students from Norwalk received
blue ribbons! Over 250 entries from the central Iowa region participated in this event.

Indian Hills Community College to Present "Macbeth"
One of Shakespeare's darkest tragedies, the Scottish play "Macbeth," will be per-
formed-on the Indian Hills Community College stage Thursday through Saturda)
April 24-26, at 7:30 p.m. in St. John Auditorium. Admission is free, but patrons are
encouraged to reserve their seats in advance by calling 641-683-5144.
Playing the rifle role of Macbeth is Mason Ferguson of Wayland and Lady Macbeth
is played by Molly Overtuff from Ottumwa. Macbeth's enemy is Macduff, played by.
Tyler Breeding from Fairfield. Arlina Miller of Des Moines Js Lady Macduff. King
Duncan is played by Gage De La Cruz from Oskaloosa. Lucas Clark and Elizabeth
Pickens, both from Ottumwa, are Duncan's sons. The evil Hecate is Andrew Kecy of
Knoxville and his three dark witches are Nicole Giberson from Packwood, Colleen
Hunkele of Chariton and Halley Haring from Cambria.
The ensemble of the play includes: Gabrielle Wells of Albia; Sara Deaton of
Bloomfield; Aaryn Frazier of Blue Earth, MN; Hannah Parker of Columbus ]unction;
Trey McIntosh of Des Moines; Tanner Benson Six of Knoxville; Lee Brookhart of
LeClaire; Stevie Wallace of Norwalk; Ethan Goetz of Oskaloosa and Parker Ander-
son and Larissa.Mincks, both of Ottumwa.
