PUBLIC NOTICE OF STORM WATER DISCHARGE
The Iowa Department of Transportation plans to submit a Notice of intent to
the Iowa Department of Natural Resources to be covered under National Pollut-
ant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) General Permit No.2 "Storm Water
Discharge Associated with Industrial Activity for Construction Activities."
The storm water discharge will be from highway construction activity located
in Warren County on US Highway 65/69.The project is for grading and paving a
turn-lane on the northbound lanes of US 65/69 at the intersection of Scotch
Ridge Road.
The Public Lands Survey location is from Township 77N, Range 24W, Sec-
tion 13.
Storm water will be discharged from 1 point sources and will be discharged
into the following streams: road ditch to unnamed tributary to Middle River. Com-
ments may be submitted to the Storm Water Discharge Coordinator, IOWA DE-
PARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES,
Environmental Protection Division, 502 East 9th Street, Des Moines, IA
50319-0034. The public may review the Notice of intent from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30
p.m. Monday through Friday at the above address after it has been received by
the Department.

Warren County Board of Supervisors met Tuesday, April 10, 2013, at 9:00 a.m.
with all Supervisors' present. The following business was had to-wit:
RESOLUTION 13-80 APPROVE AGREEMENT
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Warren County Board of. Supervisor's hereby ap-
prove the Agreement between DHS and Warren County regarding transition
funds. Carried unanimously.
Upon proper motion the meeting was adjourned at 9:10 a.m.

The meeting was called to order at 6:08 p.m.
Directors Present-Katherine Schmidt, Rick Kaul, George Meinecke, Tom Phillips,
and Deb Hobbs.
The following motions were made, seconded, and approved:
• Approved pullinltem D.-"Personner' from the Consent Agenda and mak-
ing it a stand-alone Agenda Item.
• Approved the Consent Agenda.
• Approved the Personnel Changes as listed.
• Approved the "Application to Scale Up Outstanding STEM Programing"
Grant.
• Approved a resolution to levy a tax for Fiscal Year 2013-2014 for the early
redemption of General Obligation School Building Bonds.
• Approved the FY2014 Certified Budget as published.
• Approved application for a rigging safety grant to pay for a ngging system
safety inspection in the auditorium.
• Approved the student teaching agreement with Simpson College for the
2013-2014 academic year.
,Approved assigning the VMware License Agreement to the City of Norwalk.
• Approved the ICN Contract Agreement for Ethernet Services for FY2014.
• Approved hinng an elementary curnculurn/instructional coach strategist and
a secondary curriculum/instructional coach strategist.
_ .Approved hiring a dean of students at Lakewood Elementary for the 2013-
2014 school year.
• Approved the Master Contract employment agreement between the Norwalk
Board of Directors and the Norwalk Professional Education Association (NPEA)
effective July 1,2013.
• Approved the Master contract employment agreement between the Norwalk
Board of Directors and the Public Professional and Maintenance Employees
(PPME) effective July 1, 2013.
• Approved thesalary recommendations for Confidential Secretarial Staff for
the 2013-2014 school year.
• Approved the Confidential Secretary Handbook for 2013-2014 as presented.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
