Meeting Minutes April 1, 2012 The regular meeting of the Norwalk 4-H All Stars was held April 1, 2012 at the Norwalk Public Li- brary. The meeting was called to order by Presi- dent Andrea Alexander. Griffin Harvey led the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll call was answered by nine members stating their Best April Fool's prank. Emily Bergan Johnson read the minutes from the March meeting. The treasurer re- port was giv : by:' Courtney Johnson. Ava Harvey read the county newsletter. For Old Business there 21 at the 4-H camp. Vanessa attended the Jun- ior Lock in and told about the fun she had. Emma ab tended the dog project meeting and explained items that she worked on with her dog. Commu- nity service project was discussed. It was decided that at the May meeting we will make dog treats and donate them to Kiya Koda. Emma volunteered to donate eggs and Courtney will bring the parchment paper. A mo- tion was made by Andrea for the club to purchase the rest of the items. It was seconded by Ava. For New Business activities Show June 16th at Warren County Fairgrounds, Inter- mediate Trip for 7th and 8th graders, June 12 & 13. We discussed and put a com- mittee together for senior gifts, which Alex, Courtney and Emily will coordinate. A motion was made by Nicole and seconded by Beth to set a dollar limit. Griffin Harvey made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Ava Harvey seconded it. Nicole Alexander led the 4-H pledge. Demonstrations were done by Vanessa Hautekeete on how to properly handle a turtle. Ava Harvey showed how to make a bracelet.
