Norwalk Boys Golf Meets
Monday, April 29,
Norwalk finished 3rd in
the conference invita-
tional. Grinnell won the
meet with a total Of 308.
Pella was second with a
318 followed by Norwalk
with a 319. Other confer-
ence scores were Oska-
loosa 325, Pella Christian
330 and Knoxville 3-50. The
conference meet was won
by Grinnell's Wade Mawe.
Mawe shot a three over par
75. Norwalk was led by
sophomore Carter Mal-
lett's 78 which placed him
6th overall. Carter Al-
brecht and Brandon
Mahlstedt of Norwalk
each shot 80 for 11th place.
Mallett, Albrecht and
Mahlstedt received all-
conference honors, be-
cause of their top 12 finish.
Other Warrior scores were
Mike Guessford 81, Can-
non Ridgeway 85 and Ben
Elliott 92.
Tuesday, April 30,
Norwalk traveled to Atlan-
tic Country Club to play in
the 12-team Atlantic invi-
tational. Norwalk fin-
ished 6th with a team total
of 340. Norwalk was led by
Senior Mahlstedt's 80,
which tied him for 12th
place. Other Warrior
scores were Elliott 86,
Albrecht 86, Mallett 87,
Ridgeway 88 and Guess-
Brandon Mahlstedt at Atlantic.

Norwalk Girls Golf Results
All-Conference team: Lauren Bennett, Kaitlyn Ludlow, Jordyn Cox
Norwalk tangled with
DCG on a rainy Monday
and managed a tie. Both
teams battled bad weather
but shot a respectable 187.
Rachel Weber shot a 43 to
tie for runner-up honors.
Kaitlyn Ludlow finished
with a 46,'Jenna Migliero
and Lauren Bennett
rounded out the scoring
with 49. This is the lowest
team total the Warriorsl
shot since 2003.
Norwalk Takes Control
of Second Place in LHC
The Warriors beat New-
ton for only the second
time and shot their lowest
total with a 182 to win by
five shots. Ludlow shot a
career low 42 for medalist,
Bennett was runner up
with a 44. Jordyn Cox fin-
ished with 46 and Brandie
Robson finished with a ca-
reer low 50. The Warriors
have one duel remaining
and are guaranteed no
worse than second place in
duels with one-meet re-
maining.
Norwalk traveled to
Oskaloosa to play in an
invitational and finished
5th. Ludlow finished with
a 108. Rachel "Frescoln
playing in her first meet
shot a 113. Brittany Payne
also playing in her first
meet shot a 126 as did Tay-
lor McKenzie.
Warriors place 3rd in
LHC Tournament
Norwalk finished five
shots back of Newton to
take third place in the
Little Hawkeye Confer-
ence tournament. Three
Warriors made the All-
Conference team for the"
first time. Ludlow and
Bennett tied for fifth with
101. Cox placed 9th with a
103. Robson finished with
a 118.
