Perry Invitational: Norwalk participated in the
team Perry invitational. Norwalk who won the meet
last year, defended their title successfully. Norwalk
shot 320 to win by 20 strokes over ADM. Norwalk
was led by Senior Tanner Dunn who shot 77 to place
2nd overall. Junior Riley J ermier shot 79 for 3rd place
and Senior Max Sutcliffe shot 81 for 5th place. Other
Warrior scores were: Max Juergens 83, Ethan
Verwers 86, and Logan Williamson 90.
Oskaloosa Invitational: Norwalk placed 4th in
the 15 team field at the Oskaloosa Invitational.
Norwalk shot 320 on the day. Norwalk was led by
Senior Ethan Verwers who placed 11th overall with
a terrific round of 75. Other Warrior scores were:
Riley Jermier 80, Max Sutcliffe 82, Tanner Dunn 83,
Logan Williamson 86, and Max Juergens 90.
v_ Triangular vs Pella Christian and Grinnell:
Norwalk defeated Pella Christian and Grinnell in the
last Conference Duels of the season. Norwalk finished
and 0 in the conference to win the Duel Title.

Norwalk Boys’ Golf Results.
accomplishment. Norwalk shot 174 in the rain and
wind to beat Grinnell’s 176 and PC’s 244. Norwalk
J v also won and finished the duel season 7 -0. Scoring
for the Varsity was Tanner Dunn 42(2nd place), Riley
Jermier 44, Ethan Verwers 44, Kobey Saddoris 44,
Max Juergens 45, and Max Sutcliffe 48. Jv Scoring
was: Lance Nielsen 45, Grant Harbour 47, Blake
Chittenden 48, Jack Timms 50, Nathan Lesley 53,
and AJ Migliero.
Winterset Invitational: Norwalk ended their golf
week on a winning note at the Winterset Invitational.
Norwalk won the 8 team invitational by shoot a team
score of 307. Second place was Winterset with a team
‘ score of 323. Norwalk was led by Junior Riley J ermier
who shot a career best 1 under par 69 to finish in a tie
for 1st place. Jack West of Winterset and J ermier had
to play sudden death to determine a champion. One
month early Jermier beat West in a two hole playoff
at the Norwalk invitational for medalist honors, this
time West got the best of J ermier by going par - birdie
on the first two holes to beat Jermier’s par par.

Perry Invitational lst Place 2019
Norwalk also got a personal best out of Sophomore
Max Juergens. Juergens shot 39 39 for 78 to finish
in a tie for 3rd place. Norwalk got solid play from the
other 4 golfers. Tanner Dunn, Ethan Verwers, Max
Sutcliffe, and Kobey Saddoris each shot 80. Norwalk
is currently ranked 4th overall in class 3A. ~
Atlantic Invitational: N orwalk placed 2nd in the
9 team Atlantic Invitational. Norwalk shot a score of
307 to lose to Atlantic’s team score of 301. Norwalk
had several good scores on the day, led by Junior
Riley J ermier. J ermier fired consistent rounds of 37'
37. His 18-hole score of 74 put him in a tie for 3rd
place. Winning the meet was Atlantic’s Braden Smith
who shot 73 to tie teammate Clyde Renaud, but Smith
won in a 3-hole playoff. Norwalk Senior Tanner Dunn
got back to his good play by firing a 75 which placed
him in a tie for 6th place. Senior Max Sutcliffe battled
all day to shoot 78, placing him in a tie. for 9th. Ethan
Verwers and Max J uergens' continued solid play by
each shooting 80. Senior Kebey Saddoris rounded out
the, scoring with 93.
