RESOLUTION 19-123(B) SALARY ADJUSTMENT ENGINEER WHEREAS, as per the union contract, employees appointed on or after July 1, 1995, shall be eligible for step increases in pay on their anniversary date each year, based on their job performance. It is the recommendation of the County Engineer that the following employee be granted a step increase: Chad Bottorff, effective May 22, 2019 (anniversary date May 22,2017) from: MG II Grade 9. Step 2 $21.02/hour to: MG II Grade 9 Step 3 $21.82/hour Carried unanimously. RESOLUTION 19-123(C) APPOINTMENT OF DEPUTIES AUDITOR'S OFFICE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby approves the Auditor's request to appoint Kimberly Sheets as first deputy with a pay increase to $1.896.46 bi-weekly and appoint Kris Foland as second deputy with a pay increase to $1,786.53 bi-weekly due to increased job duties effective July 1,2019. Carried unanimously. RESOLUTION 19-123(D] CHANGE IN STATUS AUDITOR'S OFFICE BE IT RESOLVED THAT. the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby approves the change in status for Brenda Lee. Auditor Clerk from temporary employment status to part-time employment status, working 20 hours or less per week effective April 1, 2019 and is not eligible for benefits. Carried unanimously. RESOLUTION 19-123(E) REMOVAL FROM PAYROLL AUDITOR TEMPORARY ELECTION HELP BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board Lof Siupervisors hereby accepts the Auditor's request to remove Jane Summers, Temporary Election staff from the Warren County Auditor's office, effective November 2. 2018. Jane was not eligible for benefits. Carried unanimously. RESOLUTION 19-123(F)TEMPORARY SEASONAL HIRE CONSERVATION BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby approves to hire Barry Haglan as a seasonal~temporary employee in Conservation effective April 20, 2019 at an hourly rate~ $11.05 and is not eligible for benefits. RESOLUTION 19-125 CLOSE PUBLIC HEARING REZONING REQUEST ANDREW PLEVA BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby approves to close the public hearing portion of the meeting regarding rezoning request from Andrew Pleva. Carried unanimously. RESOLUTION 19-126 REZONING REQUEST DENIED ANDREW PLEVA BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby denies the rezoning request of certain lands submitted by Andrew Pleva, 1114 NW 123rd Street, Granger, Iowa 50109. The owner of the property is Mark Fargo, 13435 Summerset Road, Indianola, Iowa 50125. The address of the property is 2354 R63 Highway, Norwalk, iowa 50211. RESOLUTION 19-129 REZONING REQUEST JOHN SHANNON BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby approves the rezoning request of certain lands submitted by John Shannon, 2306 Coolidge Street, Norwalk, Iowa 50211. Carried unanimously. RESOLUTION 19-132 AMENDMENTS TO ZONING ORDINANCE BE tT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby approves the following amendments to the Zoning Ordinance: A. Amendment to Chapter 40, Section 40.04, #31 of the zoning ordinance. B. Amendment to Chapter 40, Section 40.13 of the zoning ordinance. C. RESOLUTION 19-134 CLOSE PUBLIC HEARING CLASSIFICATION OF PORTION OF 63RD AVENUE BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board 0f Supervisors hereby approves to close the public hearing portion of the meeting regarding classification of 63rd Avenue between Gear Street and Grimes Street. Carried unanimously. RESOLUTION 19-135 CLASSIFICATION OF PORTION OF 63RD AVENUE BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby approves to set 2nd Reading regarding classification of 63rd Avenue between Gear Street and Grimes Street for June 4, 2019. Carried unanimously. RESOLUTION 19-136 OPEN PUBLIC HEARING SECONDARY ROADS 5 YEAR CONSTRUCTION PLAN BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby approves to enter into the public hearing portion of the meeting regarding Secondary Roads 5Year Construction Plan. RESOLUTION 19-139 IDOT AGREEMENT BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby approves the Board Chair to sign the Agreement for use of local agency roads for incident management temporary detour routes for CR R45 from G76 Hwy to G50 Hwy, with the Iowa Department of 3-ransportation. Carried unanimously. RESOLUTION 19-140 SECONDARY ROADS EQUIPMENT STORAGE FACILITY BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby approves to proceed with accepting quotes for demolition of east condemned building, truss storage shed. located at the Secondary Roads Equipment Storage Facility. Carried unanimously. RESOLUTION 19-141 WARREN COUNTY CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION APPOINTMENT WHEREAS, Dennis Desenberg, submitted his resignation from the Warren County Civil Service Commission effective May 7,2019. BE IT RESOLVED THAT. the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby approves appointment of Don Simpson to the Warren County Civil Service Commission effective May 7, 2019 with his term expiring on December 31, 2023. Carried unanimously. RESOLUTION 19-142 MAY 2019 MENTAL HEALTH PROCLAMATION BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby approves proclaiming May 2019 as Mental Health Month. LFM-R63(N)---7X-91 BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby approves the County Engineer's review of bids from contractors for Project No. LFM-R63(N)--7X-91, landslide stabilization, and accept the bids from: Elder Corporation $209,000.00 Herberger Construction $219,418.75 And approve the bid from Elder Corporation in the amount of $209,000.00 and authorize the Chair to sign the contract.
