Monday, May 10 the Warriors par- ticipated in the Little Hawkeye Conference Tournament hosted by Grinnell. The Warriors finished in fifth place. Newton won the tournament with 376, Grinnell was next with 379, followed by South Tama 398, Pella 408, Norwalk 413, Pella Christian 415, Oskaloosa 429 and Knoxville 441. Senior Molly Hill was fourth overall with a 90, good for All-Conference. Carley Kleppe shot 99 and Erin Bunce finished with 100. Kaitlyn Ludlow rounded out the scoring for the Warriors. Hannah Simmerman and Jordyn Cox also made the trip. Only the four low scores count for team score. Two days later, the team traveled to Ottumwa and tied for sixth place. Taking first was Marshalltown with 390, followed by Ottumwa 397, Dowling 399, Waukee 400, Washington 408, Norwalk and Indianola tied with 420, Mt. Pleasant 438, Burlington 456, Keokuk 517 and East-Lincoln-North 545. Hill tied for fourth overall with 94, Kleppe finished with 100, Bunce 107 and Cox 119. Ludlow and Simmerman also played.
