Tom Latham's Traveling
Help Desk makes its
monthly visit to Warren
County Wednesday, May
30, providing an opportu-
nity for constituents to
meet one-on-one with a
member of Congressman
Latham's staff to ask ques-
tions and voice concerns.
No appointment is nec-
essary. The Help Desk
meeting takes place from
2-3 p.m. at the Warren
County Administration
Building, Conference Room
#1, located at 301 N. Buxton
in Indianola.
The Congressman's
staff can answer questions
and offer help to individu-
als who have problems
with a range of federal
programs, including So-
cial Security and benefits
for veterans. Staff mem-
bers can help Iowa stu-
dents interested in attend-
ing one of the prestigious
U.S. Military Academies;
discuss agricultural pro-
grams with farmers or
help constituents work
with the Internal Revenue
Service or any other fed-
eral agency. Latham's staff
will also make sure to pass
along any concerns to
Congressman Latham.
Each month a member
of Congressman Latham's
staff brings the Traveling
Help Desk to every county
of the Fourth Congres-
sional District. Additional

GOLF TOURNAMENT

Championship Day of the 1st Annual Last Man Stand-
ing Golf Tournament was held Saturday, May 12. The
top 30 qualifiers from an 18-hole qualifier on May 5,
converged at Rolling Hills Golf Course to decide who
would be the "Last Man Standing."
The top ten individual qualifiers battled it out for the
title of Top Ten Champion and the next twenty qualifi-
ers were paired together to form 10 alternate shot teams,
vying for the title of "Two-Man Alternate Shot Cham-
pions."
The highest score on each hole is eliminated each hole.
If more than one person/team ties for the highest score,
a chip-off served as tiebreaker adding to the excitement.
Congrats to the Top Ten Champion Nate Thayer and
the Two-Man Alternate Shot Champions David Hallin
and Clint Driftrnier! Thanks to all who took part in the
qualifier and championship day. Special thanks to Randy
Reese and the Rolling Hills staff for hosting the event.
