AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2019 WARREN COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE
TO AMEND THE CODE OF ORDINANCES IS AS FOLLOWS.
BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED by the Warren County Board of Supervisors:
ARTICLE I. PURPOSE: The purpose of this Ordinance is to amend the
Warren County Zoning Ordinance as indicated.
ARTICLE II. AMENDMENT. The amendment is in Chapter 40, Section 40.04
DEFINITIONS 31. Family means one or more persons occupying a single
dwelling unit.
ARTICLE III. ZONING ORDINANCE. That the Warren County Zoning
Ordinance is hereby repealed so as to change the reclassification as set forth
above.
ARTICLE IV. WHEN EFFECTIVE. This Ordinance shall be in effect after its
passage and approval and publication as required by law.

BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED by the Warren County Board of Supervisors:
ARTICLE I. PURPOSE: The purpose of this Ordinance is to amend the
Warren County Zoning Ordinance as indicated.
ARTICLE II. AMENDMENT. Theamendment is in Chapter 41, ZONING
DISTRICTS AND BOUNDARIES, Section 41.04 RR-1 DISTRICT REGULATIONS.
7. Bulk Regulations. F. Maximum Height. Principal building: thirty-five (35)
feet. Accessory building: twenty (20) feet.
ARTICLEIII. ZONING ORDINANCE. That the Warren County Zoning
Ordinance is hereby repealed so as to change the reclassification as set forth
above.
ARTICLE IV. WHEN EFFECTIVE. This Ordinance shall be in effect after its
passage and approval and publication as required by law.

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach
Warren County held their official Open House and
ribbon cutting on Thursday, May 30th at their new
location of 200 West 2nd Ave in Indianola.
The event was attended by over 125 citizens with
Cy the Cyclone even making a guest appearance.
Refreshments were sponsored by the Iowa Corn
Growers Association and Gibb's A&W.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2019 WARREN COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE
TO AMEND THE CODE OF ORDINANCES IS AS FOLLOWS.
BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED by the Warren County Board of Supervisors:
ARTICLE I. PURPOSE: The purpose of this Ordinance is to amend the
Warren County Zoning Ordinance as indicated.
ARTICLE II. AMENDMENT. The amendment is in Chapter 40, Section 40.13
ACCESSORY BUILDINGS. No accessory building shall be erected in any
required court or yard other than a rear yard except in the A-1 (Agricultural
District) except as provided hereinafter. Accessory buildings shall conform
to all minimum setback requirements and on a corner lot they shall conform to
the setback regulations on the side street. Accessory buildings, except
buildings housing animals or fowl, may be erected as a part of the principal
building, or may be connected thereto by a breezeway or similar structure,
provided all yard requirements for a principal building are complied with. An
accessory building which is not part of the main building shall not exceed the
maximum accessory height restriction in the specified zoning district
ARTICLE Ill. ZONING ORDINANCE. That the Warren County Zoning
Ordinance is hereby repealed so as to change the reclassification as set forth
above.
