prices. Late registration for both weeks of camp would
then run through Monday, June 28 at the $69/$138 prices.
If a child wants to do both camps "A" and "B" over the
four-day period, price is $118 (Early) or $138 (Late).

Barry and JoAnn McKibben
To Observe 50th Anniversary
Barry and JoAnn McKibben will observe their 50th
wedding anniversary Saturday, June 26. They were
married June 26, 1960.
In appreciation of their love and support, a card
shower is being hosted by their family, Barry and Sheri
McKibben and William and Marlys McKibben and
grandchildren Sean, Cara and Ryan. Greetings may be
sent to the couple's home, 3909 S. Orilla Rd., West Des

SULLIVAN OBIT

worked as a paramedic for Johnson County Ambulance
Service. He became director of the service in 1992, a
position he held until accepting the position of Execu-
tive Assistant for the Johnson County Board of Super-
visors in 2001. Last year, he became the Executive Di-
rector for the Johnson County Joint Emergency Com-
munication Center. Mr. Sullivan was a member of Zion
Lutheran Church, participated in the USA Triathlon and
lived for Iowa Hawkeye Wrestling and Football teams.
Survivors include his wife, Tina; daughter, Ashley
Sullivan of Coralville; sons, Christopher (Stephanie)
Sullivan of Johnstown, PA and Patrick Sullivan of Des
Moines; his mother, Luann Sullivan of Urbandale; sib-
lings, James (Nancy) Sullivan of Des Moines, Kathy
(Mike) Gruening of Des Moines, Peggy (Mike) Bucher
of Wyoming, OH, Patty (Dave) Combs of Norwalk, Pat
(Joyce) Sullivan of Cundiyo, NM, Tim (Angle) Sullivan
of Des Moines, Mary Beth (Shannon) Arthiers of Des
Moines and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and a sister,
Tammy Sullivan.
A memorial fund has been established in Mr.
Sullivan's name.

Plan October Wedding
Tia Thomas and Bradley Wilson, together with their
parents, announce their engagement and approaching
wedding.
Miss Thomas is the daughter of Brian and Shelly
Thomas of Des Moines and granddaughter of Darwin
Thomas of Des Moines and Carol (Perkins) Fath and
Kermit Perkins of Pleasant Hill.
The bride-elect graduated from Iowa State Univer-
sity in Ames with a degree in Family and Consumer
Science Education. She is currently teaching at Lincoln
High School in Des Moines.
Mr. Wilson is the son of Brian and Sue Wilson and
Deb (Miller) Crews and grandson of JoAn Miller, all of
Norwalk. He graduated from Iowa State University with
a degree in Electrical Engineering and currently works
at MidAmerican Energy as a Senior Engineer.
The couple will be married Saturday, Oct. 16, at Grace
Church in Des Moines.
