Officer observed a sus- picious vehicle in the 500 block of Wright Road and made contact with a sub- ject there. Chad Lee Cosper, 33, Norwalk, was arrested and charged with Possession of Metham- phetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was processed and trans- ---ported to the Warren County Jail. Officer was called to the 600 block of Knoll Drive for a suspicious odor com- ing from an apartment. Norwalk resident, Charles Richard Adkins, 32, was charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Responded to a barking dog complaint in the 4900 block of Lakewood Drive. The animal's owner, Brett Lancaster, 44, Norwalk, was charged with Allow- ing a Dog to be an Annoy- ance and Disturbing the Neighbors. He was cited to appear at a later date. unl_u_a Officers took a report of a theft that occurred on 06- 07-13 in the 1500 block of Sunset Drive. Information was taken for a report; in- vestigation continues in the matter. Called to the 1700 block of Sunset Drive for a Theft of a Motor Vehicle. Infor- mation was taken and a report made. The vehicle was later located in An- keny, was processed and the owner was notified. Investigation remains ac- five. -, Officer responded to the 7000 block of County Line Road for a report of damage to an entry door. A report was made and photos taken; case pend- ing further leads. --" unJ_q_q.e_. Officers were notified of a vehicle driving errati- cally coming into Nor- walk. The vehicle was ob- served and stopped in the- 900 block of Main Street. The driver, Katherine Or- fiz, 40, Grimes, was arrest- ed and charged with O.W.I. 2nd and Driving on the wrong side of a two- Called to the 900 block of East 17th Street for a Theft report. Information was gathered and a report was made; investigation continues in this matter. Dusty Shane Seiberling, 44, Norwalk, was arrested on a warrant from Greene County. Subject was trans- ported to the Warren County Jail. J_ne 13 Officer took a report of a Fraud/Identity Theft from a resident in the 1200 block of East i8th Street. Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids has announced the gradu- ating class of 2012-2013. College faculty and ad- ministration joined friends and family in saluting the grads at commencement ceremonies at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena in Cedar Rapids, May 18. Graduates included Gabriel Roth, Pre-Business Transfer - AA of Cum- ming. PEE WEE BASEBALL LEAGUE CHAMPIONS The Twin Rivers Pee Wee Baseball League Tournament was hosted by the 1-35 Roadrunner Little League in Truro Sunday, June 9. A total of 11 teams from Norwalk, Southeast Warren, Martensdale-St. Marys and 1-35 competed in the tour- nament. After a full day of baseball games and enduring the off-and-on rainy, cloudy, sunny and chilly weather, the Norwalk White Pee Wee team won 1st Place in the tournament. The team went undefeated during the regular season games and throughout the tournament games. The Norwalk Twin Rivers Pee Wee teams are formed with team members who are in Kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade. If you are interested in registering your child for the 2014 Pee Wee league, look for registration information in the Norwalk Newspaper in late fall. Norwalk 4-H All Stars The regular meeting of the Norwalk 4-H All Stars was held June 9, 2013 at the Norwalk Public Library. The meeting was called to order by President Alex Bennett. Tristan Duncan led the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll call was answered by 11 members stating a project they will be taking to the county fair. Nicole Alexander read the minutes from the May meeting. The treasurer report was given by Courtney Johnson. Courtney also read the county newsletter. For Old Business members were reminded about the requirements and entry forms for the county fair. New Business: Members were informed that our clubs judging will be Saturday, July 20 at 11 a.m. Booth set up is Thursda July 18 from 6-8 p.m. Our club will host the building Friday, July 26, from 3-5 p.m. Items can be removed from the exhibit building Sunda36 July 28, at 9 p.m. Tristan Duncan made a motion to adjoum the meeting and Will Bennett seconded it. Will Bennett led the 4-H Pledge. Members then made decorations for the fair booth. Bedwell Gardens made a donation of flowers for our planter. Courtney Johnson showed mem- bers the correct way to plant flowers as we planted our containers for the county fair.
