You are hereby notified that on the 29th day of May, 2019, the Last Will
and
Testament of Esther M. Leo, deceased, bearing the date of the 1lth day of
February, 2015, was admitted to probate in the above named Court and that
Gary J, Leo was appointed as executor of the estate. Any action to set
aside
the Will must be brought in the District Court of said county within the
later to
occur of four (4) months from the date of the second publication of this
notice
or one (1) month from the date of mailing of this notice to all heirs of
the
decedent and devisees under the Will whose identities are reasonable
ascertainable, or thereafter be forever barred.
Notice further hereby given that all persons indebted to the estate are
requested to make immediate payment to the Executor at the address below,
and creditors having claims against the estate shall file them with the
clerk of
the above named District Court, as provided by law, duly authenticated, for
allowance, and unless so filed by the later to occur four (4) months from
the
second publication of this notice or one (1) month from the date of the
mailing
of this notice (unless otherwise allowed or paid) a claim is thereafter
forever
barred.

NOTICE OF SALE
Norwalk Community School District
Not to Exceed $10,000,000 General Obligation School Bonds,
Series 2019
Bids will be received on behalf of the Nonivalk Community School District,
in the County of Warren, State of Iowa, until 10:00 o'clock am. on July
8,
2019, for the purchase of not to exceed $10,000,000 General Obligation
School
Bonds, Series 2019 (the “Series 2019 Bonds") of the School District.
Any of the methods set forth below may be used, but no open bids will be
accepted:
(1) Sealed Bidding: Sealed bids will be received at the Administrative
Office, Norwalk Community School District, 380 Wright Road, Norwalk, IA
50211, attn: Board Secretary.
(2) Electronic Internet Bidding: Electronic internet bids will be received
at the Administrative Office, Nonivalk Community School District, 380
Wright
Road, Norwalk, IA 50211, and must be submitted through PARITY®.
(3) Electronic Facsimile Bidding: Electronic facsimile bids will be
received
at the Administrative Office, Norwalk Community School District, 380 Wright
Road, Norwalk, IA 50211, and will be sealed and treated as sealed bids.
Electronic facsimile bids should be faxed to (515) 981 0559.
After the deadline for receipt of bids has passed, sealed bids will be
opened
and announced, and electronic internet and facsimile bids will be accessed
and announced. All bids will be presented to the Board of Directors of the
School District for consideration at its meeting to be held at 6
o'clock pm. on
July 8, 2019 at the Administrative Office, Norwalk Community School
District,
380 Wright Road, Nonivalk, Iowa.
Official Statement: The School District has issued an Official Statement of
information pertaining to the Series 2019 Bonds to be offered, including a
statement of the Terms of Offering and an Official Bid Form, which is
incorporated by reference as a part of this notice. The Official Statement
may
be obtained by request addressed to the Secretary of the Board of
Directors,
Nonivalk Community School District, District Office, 380Wright Road,
Norwalk,
IA 50211; Telephone: (515) 981-0676, or Matthew Gillespie, Piper Jaffray
Co., 3900 Ingersoll, Suite 110, Des Moines, Iowa 50312; Telephone: (515)
247-2353.
Terms of Offering: All bids must be in conformity with and the sale must be
in accord with the Terms of Offering as set forth in the Official
Statement.
The School District reserves the right, after bids are opened and prior to
award, to increase or decrease the principal amount of the Series 2019
Bonds
offered for sale and/or to increase or decrease the principal amount of
each
maturity.
The bidders must specify a price of not less than 98.5% of par. plus
accrued
interest.
The Series 2019 Bonds will be sold subject to the legal opinion of Dorsey
Whitney LLP, Attorneys, Des Moines, Iowa. ‘
The School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to
waive
irregularities in any bid.
Bidders should be aware that the Official Statement for the Series 2019
Bonds, including the Terms of Offering, in contain additional bidding terms
and information relative to the Series 2019 Bonds, including without
limitation
requirements regarding the establishment of issue price for the Series 2019
Bonds. Bidders should prepare their bids on the assumption that the Series
2019 Bonds will be subject to the “hold-the-offering-price" rule, if
the
requirements for a competitive sale have not been met. Any bid submitted
pursuant to the Official Statement or this Notice of Sale shall be
considered a
firm offer for the purchase of the Series 2019 Bonds, and bids submitted
will
not be subject to cancellation or withdrawal. In the event of a variance
between
statements in this Notice of Sale (except with respect to the time and
place of
the sale of the Series 2019 Bonds and the principal amount offered for
sale)
and said Official Statement, the provisions of the latter shall control.

Hear the story of a Civil War soldier from Warren
County at the June WCHS meeting.
Kent Halstead, Indianola history teacher, will
speak about; a special interest of his on Tuesday, June
25th, at 7:00 pm. The title of the program is “Cyrus
Boyd going from Palmyra to Keokuk'to Shiloh to lose
his grin and see the Elephant in 1881-1882”. The
meeting will be in the Warren County Historical
Society meeting room at the museum, which is off
the southeast corner of the fair grounds in Indianola.
The meeting is free and open to the public.

SUPERVISORS OF WARREN COUNTY, STATE OF
IOWA, ON THE MATTER OF THE PROPOSED
AUTHORIZATION OF A LOAN AGREEMENT AND THE
ISSUANCE OF NOTTO EXCEED $10,800,000 GENERAL
OBLIGATION CAPITAL LOAN NOTES OF THE COUNTY
(FOR ESSENTIAL COUNTY PURPOSES), AND THE
HEARING ON THE ISSUANCE THEREOF
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Warren
County, State of Iowa, will hold a public hearing on the 24th day of June,
2019,
at 9:00 A.M., in the Board of Supervisors Board Room, Warren County
Administration Building 301 North Buxton, Suite 202, lndianola, Iowa, at
which
meeting the Board proposes to take additional action for the authorization
of a
Loan Agreement and the issuance of not to exceed $10,800,000 General
Obligation Capital Loan Notes, for essential county purposes, to provide
funds
to pay the costs of the acquisition of the peace officer and other
emergency
services communication equipment and systems. Principal and interest on
the proposed Loan Agreement will be payable from the Debt Service Fund.‘
At the above meeting the Board shall receive oral or written objections
from
any resident or property owner of the County to the above action. After all
objections have been received and considered, the Board will at the meeting
or at any adjournment thereof, take additional action for the authorization
of a
Loan Agreement and the issuance of the Notes to evidence the obligation of
the County thereunder or will abandon the proposal to issue said Notes.
This notice is given by order of the Board of Supervisors of Warren County,
State of Iowa, as provided by Sections 331.402 and 331.443 of the Code of
Iowa.
