Call 981- 0700 for more information. Log Cabin Days In Indianola This year the Indianola Log Cabin Festival theme is "Warren County and the Civil War." In preparation for the September 26-27 event, the Warren County Historical Society (WCHS) is looking for Civil War memorabilia including weapons, personal effects, stories, diaries, letters, family histories and pho- tos. The WCHS would like to make copies (pictures) of your items and include them in a display and book it is preparing about War- ren County soldiers in the Civil War. Please bring your items to the WCHS, east side of the fairground Sports Camp at Vacation Bible School Martensdale Commu- nity Church will hold a free Vacation Bible School Summer Sports Camp at the church Monday, Aug. 3, through Friday, Aug. 7 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The church is one mile north of Martensdale on Hwy 28. Children going into grades first through sixth choose from basketball, soccer or volleyball. For those less interested in sports there will be crafts. One-Day Vacation Bible School St. Paul Lutheran Church in Martensdale will be hosting a One-Day Vacation Bible School in conjunction with Linn Grove United Methodist Church.
