themed movies for a variety of ages. This week’s
movie is: Wall-E (G, 97 min, 2008). You are welcome
to bring snacks!
Monday July
Baby Time, 10:30 am- A special story time for
babies up to about 18 months and their grownups.
Lots of songs, rhymes, and bouncesl.
Tuesday July .9
Reading Time, 10:30 am- This story time focuses
on books and re-reading skills. We’ll also sing songs
and do other activities.
Make and Build, 1:30 pm 3:30 pm- Drop in to
build with LEGO bricks and other building toys.
Make buttons and other crafts. Recommended for
ages 4 and up.
Wednesday July 10
Sensory Play, 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm- Sand, water,
and more. Recommended ages 2-5.
Thursday July 11
Rhyme Time, 10:30 am- This story time focuses
on songs and rhymes. We’ll also play shakers and
read some short books.
Pajama Story Time, 7:00 pm- Join us in the
evening to read funny stories and sing songs. Great
for allages, pajamas welcome.
Friday July 12
Friday Movie, 1:00 pm— Space and universe
themed movies for a variety of ages. This week’s
movie is: A Wrinkle in Time (PG, 109 min, 2018) You
are welcome to bring snacks!
I Evening Prairie Stroll
and Wildflowers and Wildlife
Walk and Talk at
Neal Smith Refuge
i The Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge has two
upcoming programs: First, take a stroll on Saturday,
July 6th, at 6:00 p.m., with a ranger along the two-
mile TallgraSs Trail to enjoy an evening on the
prairie. Look and listen for changes in the wildlife,
while meandering through the prairie wildflowers
as the sun goes down.
Then, join naturalists on Sunday, July 7th, at 10:00
a.m. for a guided nature walk along the 1/2 mile
paved Overlook Trail and learn about wildlife,
wildflowers, and management of the refuge. See the
prairie in bloom, watch for birds and butterflies and
learn about the bison and elk herds. Recommended
for adults and, children ages 12‘ and older
accompanied by their favorite adult. Pre-registration
required.
