Carried Unanimously RESOLUTION 11-156 HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN OF 2011-2016 WHEREAS, the Federal Departmefit'of Homeland Security (DHS) requires lo- cal jurisdictions to comply with the Disaster mitigation Act of 2000 (DMA2000);, and WHEREAS, the Iowa Homeland Security and Emergency Management Divi- sion (Iowa HSEMD) is implementing the federal requirements through an agree- ment with Warren County, contract #DR-1688-0007-00; and WHEREAS, the Warren County Hazard mitigation Planning Team has recom- mended approval of the proposed plaras presented with minor modifications as requested by the public or required by State and Federal agencies: THEREFORE. let it be resolved that the above referenced plan shall be the official Hazard Mitigation Plan for the County of Warren and the County should implement the plan accordingly; and FURTHER, let it be resolved that the County authorizes the Warren County Emergency Management Commission to Submit this plan to the Iowa HSEMD on behalf of the Judsdiction.
