Four Tips To Keep Life Simple
(NAPS)---A few easy
changes to your lifestyle can
add extra time to your day.
• Sign birthday cards
once a month.- Buy, sign and
address birthday cards all at
once. Just remember to send
out each card individually as
the date approaches.
* Make all your appoint-
ments now: Regular doctor
checkups and ear tune-ups
need to be done a couple
times a year. If you schedule
all these appointments at one
time, you won't have to think
about fitting them in for the
rest of the year.
• Turn off unnecessary
notifications: E-mail and
phone notifications for social
networking sites can be dis-
tracting. Decide which are
important and disable the
others.
• Make meal decisions
now: Plan meals ahead of
time. Keep reliable staples in
the pantry to simplify your
morning routine. For exam-
ple, the R.W. Knudsen Faro-
ill Just Juice line consists
of single-fruit, unsweetened,
100 percent juices---an excel-
lent companion for your morn-
ing smoothies or a simple
vinaigrette. The juices are
undiluted to give you what
you love from your favorite
fruit.
ILW. Knudsen Family*
understands that great juice
is the result of great fruit.
For more than 50 years, the
brand has produced quality
juice products. It offers more
than 100 types of organic
fruit and vegetable juices,
carbonated fruit beverages,
and specialty items. You can
visit the website at www.rw
knudsenfamily.com for more
information and try these
recipes in the meanthne:

OBITUARY
Harriet Christine Sievers
Harriet Christine
Sievers, 74, Norwalk, went
to be with her Lord Tues-
day, July 5. She passed
peacefully in her Norwalk
home while surrounded
by family and friends.
Funeral Services were
Saturday, July 9 at Beauti-
ful Savior Lutheran
Church in West Des
Moines. Burial was at the
Norwalk Cemetery. Visita-
tion was at O'Leary Fu-
neral Services in Norwalk.
Memorial contributions
can be made in her name
to Lincoln Heights
Lutheran Church. To sign

Harriet was born Janu-
ary 29th, 1942 in
Zumbrota, MN to Harold
and Hildegard (Hadler)
Born. Harriet met the love
of her life, Clyde Sievers,
in 1955 and they were mar-
ried August 6th, 1960 in
Mineola Township, MN.
Harriet devoted her life
to her family. Whether she
was providing a soothing
hand to the forehead of an
ailing son or daughter, of-
fering comforting words
to loved ones and friends
during troubled times, or
simply providing positive
support to anyone in need,
Harriet put other's needs
ahead of her own.
Throughout her life,
Harriet's other interests
included cooking/baking,
playing cards, sewing,
flower gardening, and
reading. For the past sev-
eral decades, Harriet of-
fered her talent to her
church, Lincoln Heights
Lutheran Church, by way
of playing the organ/pi-
ano. During this time it
would be a rare occasion
that the members of her
church were not blessed by
the beautiful music she
Harriet Sievers
provided. In 1978, Harriet
began working in the
bookstore at AIB. After a
few years, she moved to
the accounting office
where she worked until
1999. Following retire-
ment, Harriet discovered
the enjoyment of spending
a few days a week on the
golf course with friends.
She also enjoyed traveling
with her husband, specifi-
cally, spending the month
of January on the warm
sands of southern Florida.
Harriet is survived by
her husband Clyde; son
Allen (Connie) Sievers of
Winterset, daughter
Patricia (Todd) Bohlender
of Indianola, son Jeff (Jen-
nifer) Sievers of Norwalk;
seven grandchildren, Ryan
(Chelsie), Ben (Kathryn),
Kyle (Brittany), Brandon,
Alyssa, Abbi, and Trey;
and two great-grandchil-
dren, Norah and Emma.
She was predeceased by
her parents; brother
Howard; a daughter Baby
Girl Sievers; and grand-
daughter Emily.
Anyone who knew
Harriet will surely remem-
ber her for her kindness,
compassion, and loving
heart. She will be dearly
missed.
