Thank you.so very much to all the friends and neigh- bors of Dorothy Gates who heFped make her 90th birthday open house in June so very special! It was held at the Norwalk Methodist Church and whether you attended in person or sent her a card, thank you. It was a won- derful celebration, which she really enjoyed. It was heartwarming for me, her daughter Phyllis, as well. Almost every face there was one I knew from grow- ing up in Norwalk and I was filled with gratitude at the opportunity to see you all on such a happy occasion. To all the dear "girls" from the class of '69, hugs to you in particular for com- ing! And the town of Norwalk did not disappoint me either. Everywhere I went during my week back "home" getting ready for this open house, people were still just like the warm- hearted small town Iowans with whom I grew up. Sincerely, Phyllis Gates Givens ................................... A great big thank you to our children and their families for our wonderful 50th an- niversary celebration!
