Save Your Skin From Stress (NAPS)--Wearing your heart on your sleeve is one thing;, wearing your stress on your skin is another. It's some- thing you don't want. "Stress is responsible for 70 to 90 percent of doctors' vis- its," explains Cynthia Ackrill, M.D., Fellow of The American Institute of Stress. "Its effects are particularly harsh on the skin, causing premature aging and advancing the symptoms of every common skin condi- tion from sensitive skin, to eczema and psoriasis, rosacea, and chronic dry skin." . &:% You don't have to let stress distress your skin. Fortunately, although 75 percent of adults report stress in the past month, it is possi- ble to prevent and correct irri- tated, itchy, uncomfortable skin and the visible signs of" stress: excessive redness, blotchiness, breakouts and looking tired and dull. The chemists at Kiehl's Since 1851, the venerable New York- based purveyor of fine- quality skin care formulatior created an industry-leading formula to address the signs of internal stress that show up on skin. Lemoun rLsta, the 2013 AlL American Daylily winner, is both America's favorite gar- den color and is an excellent repeat bloomer, providing a long-term color display. Lemonn Vista joins the now 20 award-winning day- lilies that have been selected for the coveted All-American title for their scientifically proven and superior perfor- mance nationwide by the All- American Daylily Selection Council (AADSC). Recognized for its superior performance in landscapes, Lemonn vta paints a beau- tiful garden picture whether planted solo en masse or com- bined with companion peren- nials. The soaring popularity of dayli]ies, combined with the bewildering profusion of varieties and growing char- acteristics, demanded the development of a standard for daylily excellence. Start- ed in 1987, the All-American Daylily Selection Council created a scientific method- elegy that evaluates daylilies on 52 different characteris- tics to determine the best varieties and to create a benchmark for future daylily varieties. There are more than 48,000 daylilies registered, bred in at least 25 states, by hundreds of individual hybridizers. Using its elab- orate testing program, the AADSC sorts through the thousands of registered day- lilies to award the coveted title of"All-American:" The flowers are tested for at least two years, with final- ists grown for another three to five years in open-field con- ditions before the winner or winners are announced. The 2013 winner, Lemonn Vista is proudly carried at many garden cen' -" across the nation and will .; a beau- tiful and fresh addition to vir- tually any garden in America.
