Overall Local Winner and Placing 3rd in the National Contest is Nayeli Devine, 4, Des Moines. Second Place Overall Local Winner is Griffen Miller, 18 months, Readlyn. Officer Melco and Officer Criswell helped cadets with an investigation. Throughout the week they took part in fingerprinting, taking photos, casting footprints, touring the jail and other police responsibilities. The Norwalk Farmer's Market, sponsored by the Norwalk Area Chamber of Commerce, continues each Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the parking lot in front of the Dollar General Store in Sunset Plaza. Vendors are available with their prod- ucts including veggies, honey, trees and baked goods. Vendors who have not sent in their payment for participating in the market are reminded to do so as soon as possible, according to Deb Mineart, executive director for the Norwalk Chamber.
