Phillip was born April 15th, 1965 in New York City to Lavern and Francoise (Renou) Hal- verson. He went to Dowling High School and excelled in football, working in construction HALVERSON and ending his career in heating and cooling. Phillip loved to read and fish. He is survived by his mother, Francoise of Norwalk; sister, Caprice Halverson of Norwalk; brother, Erick Halverson of Claremore, OK; children, Adam Halver- son of OK, Monica Halverson of Des Moines and Nolan Halverson of Des Moines; and seven grandchildren. Phillip was preceded in death by his father, Lavern; and sister, Therese Halverson. To respect Phillip's wishes, there will be no services. OPALS - Older People with Active Life Styles Senior Citizen Exercise Everyone ages 55 and older is invited to attend a free exercise program that will include stretzhing and toning. We will meet at Norwalk Christian Church (new location) located at 701 Main Street. Registration is not required. This is a continuous program every Monday and Thursday from 10-10:30 a.m. (new day). Live 2 B Healthy@ instructors lead classes every Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 11:15 a.m. Class will last about 45 minutes. Live 2 B Healthy trainers are highly experienced with senior fitness. All ability levels are welcome. Everyone who attends the class can look forward to improving strength, balance and flexibility while improving mood and lowering stress. Shop weekly on Fridays from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m now located in the grass lot north of the Dollar Tree in Norwalk. This move has helped with overcrowding in the parking lot. Throughout the season, there will be local growers, farmers, artists, direct sales, bakers, and more. Don't miss it! The market will be open Friday evenings through October.
