will be sponsoring a blood
drive at St. John the
Apostle Catholic Church,
720 Orchard Hills Dr.,
Thursday, Aug. 18, from 3-
Hometown Nazareth Vacation Bible School was held
July 31 through August 4 at New Life Lutheran Church
in Norwalk* As a community service project, the fami-
lies in attendance brought food items for the Norwalk
Food Pantry. A goal was set of 200 food items and if this
goal was met, Pastor Nate Liedtke would receive a pie
in the face on the final day of VBS. Over 50 children and
families brought over 250 items for the Norwalk Food
Pantry and Thursday, Aug, 4, Pastor Liedtke received the

IPTV's Reading Road Trip
Kids and families across Iowa spent time riding in a
spaceship, throwing snowballs at a Yeti monster and
pledging to watch less TV during Iowa Public Television's
fifth-annuM summer Reading Road Trip. At 65 Iowa li-
braries, a record 15,465 people attended these high-en-
ergy events hosted by IPTV KIDS Clubhouse host Dan
Wardell - 2,290 more than last year and 1,323 more than
