Emma Schaefer Earns Riding Awards
Emma Schaefer. Photo submitted.-
It has never been done before in the 27 years of the American Buckskin World
Show. Never has someone won High Point and Reserve High Point in the same divi-
sion, but Norwalk's Emma Schaefer achieved this goal Saturda]6 July 26, during the
event held in Tulsa, OK.
The 12-year-old daughter of Dave and Janelle Schaefer was awarded High Point
13 and Under All Around on her five-year-old mare, Sheez So Good, and Reserve
High Point All Around on her seven-year-old mare, Jacs Smoken Dun.
Emma rode hard on both of her horses all week, bringing home five World Cham-
pionships, two Reserve World Championships and 10 Top Fives.
Her mother said it was a week Emma will never forget and she will forever be the
first.to achieve the "unachievable'.
