Pick up registration forms 24 hours a day at the Parks
and Recreation office or print them off our website:
www.ci.norwalk.ia.us. You can mail registration forms,
place them in our drop box or walk in. Our office is
located at 1100 Chatham Ave. (Public Safety Bldg.). Of-
rice hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
The drop box is open 24/7! If you have any questions,
call us at 981-9206. Online registration i§ available. (See

END OF SUMMER FAMILY SPLASH BASH
Celebrate one of the last days of summer before
school begins, with a splash at the 21st Annual Summer
Family Splash Bash. The day will offer lots of fun games
for the whole family. Date: August 18; Day: Sunday;
Time: 1-5 p.m.; Cost: $4 (tax included; free with pool
pass).
WE HAVE GONE TO THE DOGS
This is a special time for dogs to swim and play in
the water. Try jumping off the diving board, going down
the slide or just having a "doggone good time!" Dogs
will follow their owner's rules, but are free to do as the3)
please. Be sure to bring their favorite ball or toy to play
with. Owners must be with their dog at all times. Day:

STEP BENCH AEROBICS/INTERVAL
This is a class of high energy aerobic routines inter-
spersed with intense cardio segments and followed by
a recovery period. Class will improve cardio condition-
ing. Thi s class is for any fitness level and can be adjusted
to a low or high impact class depending on the level of
fitness you are. The bench is provided and you may
bring floor mat/towel and hand-held weights to increase
intensity and improve muscle tone. Mary Jane Sharp is

EARLY BIRD BODY SCULPTING
For those of you who get up with theekickens, come
join this early morning class that will work on ultimate
body sculpting, Pilates and Chicometrics. This class is
designed to maximize core strength, firm and tone your
butt, thighs and arms. This class will use dumbbells,
big exercise balls (your own on designated days) and
dynabands that will put you to the test with added in-
tensity. Bring a mat/towel; hand weights are optional.

CIRCUIT SENSATION
Are you ready for this new workout that is athletic,
intense and more fun than a three-ring circus??!! Using
the motivational power of teamwork and competition
in combination with the balance challenges presented
by the Bosu balance workout, you will discover how to
change ordinary circuit workouts into extraordinary
workouts. The class will also use jump ropes, Dynamx
Strength Balls, Ab rollers, bands, other strengthening
equipment and weighted bars. Bring a mat/towel and

YOGA CLASS
Yoga is for everyone! It increases strength, flexibility
and balance for both body and mind. Regular yoga prac-
tice can help to improve circulation, digestion and pos-
ture, stimulate the immune system, decrease stress level,
boost self-esteem and create a sense of calmness and
well-being. Bring your own mat, towel and water. Come

3-2-1...GO! Are you ready to really kic k your fitness
into high gear? Join Jason Collins for challenging work
outs that have the ability to push your limits or simply
give you more variety. The intensity is up to you! All
fitness levels are welcome! This class will teach you ba-
sic functional bodyweight movements to include the
squat, push up and much more! These workouts are
designed to optimize the 10 pillars of fitness (Cardio,
Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordina-
tion, Agility, Balance and Accuracy). Your results will

MEN'S FLAG FOOTBALL
This is a 6 on 6 recreational flag football league for
men. Players must be 18 years old and out of high school.

Time: 1, 2, 3 and 4 p.m. (dependent on number of teams);
Location: Norwalk-McAninch Sports Complex; Team

ADULT COED VOLLEYBALL-A AND B LEAGUE
Two separate leagues are offered for coed volleyball.
A league is considered a power league, while B league
is considered a recreation league. Each league is lim-
ited to six teams. Officials are provided for each game.
Register as a team. Six-player minimum and ten player
maximum. Registration accepted on first come, first
serve basis until it is full. Registration Dates: Through
