Sealed bids must be received at the Office of the Board Secretary, 906 School
Avenue, Norwalk, Iowa 50211 by 12:00 PM, Friday, August 27, 2010. All bids
must clearly indicate the bid price. The bid must also list the bidder's full name,
address, and phone number.
Pickup and delivery will be the responsibility of the buyer and must be com-
pleted within 10 days of sale. Payment in full must be remitted to the District
before pickup or delivery.
The School District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to accept.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning & Zoning Commission of the
City of Norwalk will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 8,
2010 in the Meeting Room at Norwalk Easter Public Library, 1051 North Av-
enue, to consider rezoning property within the City of Norwalk. The property
being considered is located within the Orchard Hills Planned Unit Development
(PUD), specifically pertaining to the 5.48 acre Pamel 1 of the approved Orchard
Hills PUD.The proposal, if approved, would rezone a portion of Lot I to allow the
requirements set forth in the R-4, High Density Residential zone as defined in
the Norwalk Zoning Code.
Persons may express their opinion on the proposed rezoning at the time and
place of the public hearing. Opinions in writing shall be submitted on or before
the time of the public hearing to Mike Johnson, Associate City Planner, 705
North Avenue, NorWalk, Iowa 50211. A copy of the existing PUD and rezoning
petition are on file for review during normal operating hours Monday through
Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Norwalk City Hall, 705 North Avenue. Additional
information regarding the proposed rezoning may be obtained through the De-
velopment Services Department or by calling 515-981-0228, ext 219.

The Iowa Department of Transportation plans to submit a Notice of Intent to the
Iowa Department of Natural Resources to be covered under National Pollutant
Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) General Permit No. 2 "Storm Water
Discharge Associated with Industrial Activity for Construction Activities."
The storm water discharge will be from highway construction activity located in
Warren County on Interstate Highway 35. The project is for the northbound and
southbound bridge reconstruction over South River along 1-35.

the following streams: South River to the Des Moines River.
