BE IT RESOLVED THAT; the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby
approves to convene closed session according to Iowa Code 21.5(c). “To
discuss strategy with counsel in matters that are presently in litigation
or where
litigation is imminent where its disclosure would be likely to prejudice or
disadvantage the position of the governmental body in that litigation.
Carried unanimously.

The Warren County Historic Preservation Comnission would like to invite
local residents and property owners to be part of Iistory in the county. As
the
first step in their Planning for Preservation projeit, they are hosting a
public
meeting for all residents of Warren County on Tusday September 14 at 6:30
pm. The public meeting will collect public inpt on history and historic
preservation in Warren County, provide informtion on the importance of
historic preservation, and outline potential presevation activities in
Warren
County. Everyone is invited to attend, to learn abot historic preservation,
and
to provide their input and perspective on historic prservation in Warren
County.
The public meeting will be held on Tuesday Sepember 14 at 6:30 pm. in
the second floor Board Room in the County Adlinistration Building, 301

funded through a Certified Local Government (LG) grant from the State

This meeting of the City of Ndrwalk City Council, on August 19, 2021
was held electronically and in person. Pursuart to Iowa Code Sections
21.4 and 21.8 this meeting was held by ebctronic means for all
participants due to the Governor's proclamitions regarding social
gatherings due to the spread of COVlD-19. Attndees could access the

Public Hearing regarding Great Western Trail Connection Phase 2 Project
Mayor Phillips opened the public hearing at 7:20 pm. Robin Leaper presented
the project. Lindsey Offenburger reported receiving no oral or written
comments. Mayor Phillips closed the public hearing at 7:21 pm.
Motion by Riva, seconded by Lester to approve Resolution 21169 approving
and confirming plans, specifications, form of contract and estimate of cost
for
the Great Western Trail Connection Phase 2 Project, carried unanimously,
RC.
Motion by Lester, seconded by Riva to approve Resolution 21170 awarding
contract for the Great Western Trail Connection Phase 2 Project, carried
unanimously, RC.
