Concluded from p. 1
Why do you wish to serve
on the School Board?
Serving on the School
Board is one way for me to
give back to not only the
school district, but the
community of Norwalk. It
is an opportunity for me to
be involged in creating a
positive direction for the
future of the students of
Norwalk. Growing up in a
fatnily of educators, I have
a passion for education at
all levels. My profession-
al career path has been in
higher education and I
have experience worRing
with college students and
know that the work that is
done during the K-12
years is instrumental to the
success of students when
they move into the next
phase of their Dives. (i.e.
going to college, entering
the work place or joining
the service).
Is this your first time
seeking election to the
School Board and have
you attended meetings
prior to your becoming a
Candidate? Yes to both.
Do you serve on any city
or school committees and
if so, which ones?
