You can mail registration forms, place them in our drop box or walk in. Our office is located at 1100 Chatham Ave. (Public Safety Bldg.). BALLROOM DANCING You could be the next dancer on "Dancing with the Stars"! For the next six weeks put a little zest in your evenings while learning to Foxtrot, Waltz, Swing, plus others in the Beginner I class. Or if you are a little more ambitious, try your hand in the Beginner II class learn- ing the Triple Time Swing, Rumba, or Cha-cha. Begin- ner I class would be helpful to take first, but not neces- sary. No experience needed to get started, but a partner is required. Come on out and have a little fun and exer- cise too! ADULT PICK-UP BASKETBALL GAMES Pick-up basketball games will be offered for adults. Please bring clean tennis shoes to wear for the games. This program is only for residents who live in the Norwalk School District. Program Dates: October 6, 13, 20, 27, November 3, 10,17, December 1, 8, 15, January 5, 12, 19, 26, February 2, 9, 16, 23, March 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; Time: 7 to 9 p.m.; Location: Middle School Gym; Reg- istration: Began September 13 (closes when full); Cost: $28 for Norwalk residents, $32 for non-residents; Maxi- mum number of participants: 40. This program is for children in I st through 5 th grades. The children meet once a month after school to make special arts and crafts projects. FIFTH AND SIXTH GRADE BOYS/GIRLS BASKETBALL This program is for boys and girls in 5 th and 6 th grades. The boys and girls will be assigned to teams and volun- teer coaches will be needed for the program. The teams will practice one night a week with games on Saturdays. Grade: 5 th and 6 th Grade Boys; Location: Oviatt Gym; Practice: Weeknights at Oviatt; Game Times: 2 and 3 p.m.; Dates: November 6, 13, 20, December 4, 11, 18; Registration: Through September 24. LITTLE DRIBBLERS This program is for boys and girls in Preschool (4 & 5 years olds) and Kindergarten. This activity teaches the beginning fundamentals of basketball. STEP BENCH AEROBICS Step bench aerobics is a low impact, high-energy aero- bic routine set to music. Participants use a step bench that is provided to help increase the heart rate. OGA GLAE Yoga is for everyone! It increases strength, flexibility and balance for both body and mind. Regular yoga prac- tice can help to improve circulation, digestion and pos- ture, stimulate the immune system, decrease stress level, boost self-esteem and create a sense of calmness and well being. September 2 Officer was dispatched to the 900 block of E. 17 th Street to investigate an Assault report; case is cur- rently under investigation. September 5 Officer was dispatched to the 900 block of Hunter Drive to investigate a Vio- lation Of No Contact Or- der. Information was gath- ered and forwarded to the Warren County Attorney. Officers were dis- patched to the 2200 block of Merle Huff Avenue in reference to an Under-Age party. The following sub- jects, all from Norwalk, were referred to the Re- thinking Drinking Pro- gram. Derek Ross Elings, 18, Meghan Nicole Buntin, 18, Michael Lee Cosimo, 18, Justin James Arey, 18, Kyle Lucas Coates, 18, and Andrew James McClaran, 18. There were also six ju- veniles, all from Norwalk, ages 15-17. The juveniles were released to their par- ents/guardians. ScIaemb_e00 Officer was dispatched to the 800 block of School Street to investigate a Criminal Mischief report. A Norwalk juvenile, age 14, was charged with Criminal Mischief. Case is currently under investiga- tion, charges pending on additional suspects. September 7 Officer was dispatched to the 1500 block of Sunset Drive to investigate a Theft report; case is pending fur- ther investigative leads. September 8 Officer was dispatched to Wakonda/Sunset Drive to investigate a Property Damage Accident. Vehicle driven by Mallory Danae Sindelar, 16, of Norwalk struck a vehicle driven by Kubysa Bartrona Edwards, 27, of Norwalk which in-turn struck a ve- hicle driven by Sarah Jo Siefken, 25, of Norwalk. Sindelar was cited for Fail To Have Control. Officer arrested Charles Irvin Trogdon II, 18, of Norwalk on a warrant for Sexual Assault and Simple Assault. Officers were dis- patched to the 1200 block of North Avenue to inves- tigate an Assault report; case is currently under in- vestigation.
