This!" culinary challenge
held in the 4-H Exhibits
building. The Sizzlin'
Sweetie Pies team mem-
bers are Ashlynn Williams
of Carlisle, Vanessa
Hautekeete from Norwalk
and Gabby McCoy from
Hartford who are all War-
ren County 4-Hers.
The team's challenge
was to create a jambalaya
using the basic recipe
given them and then to put
their own twist on it using
creole and Cajun spices.
Their next challenge was
to make a homemade ba-
nana-layered pudding in
the hour time-frame given.
Teams were divided into
age categories and the
Sizzlin' Sweetie Pies com-
peted at the junior age
level against other fifth
through sixth grade 4-Hers
from across the state.
