For the next six weeks put a little zest in your evenings by learning dances such as Foxtrot, Waltz, Swing, Triple Time Swing, Rumba, or Cha-cha. No ex- perience needed to get started, but a partner is required. Come on out and have a little fun and exercise too! LINE DANCING Get up and dust off those dancing shoes! Line dances are choreographed dances with a repeating series of Steps that are performed in unison by a group of people in lines or rows. Exhilarating line dances such as the Cupid shuffle, Electric Slide, and others will be taught. It is a great way to exercise without even noticing! No partner or experience needed. COMMUNITY EDUCATION AT MAIN STREET MONTESSORI SCHOOL Build your own Bat House - Bats in your belfry? In- stead of spending your fall evenings chasing them out of your house with a tennis racquet and oven mitt, why not go the ecological route and build your own bat house. In only one evening you will learn the impor- tance of not just protecting our bat neighbors, but also encouraging their presence with a prime piece of real estate. Registration: Through September 25; Date: Sep- tember 29; Time: 6:30-8:00; Location: Main St Montessori School; Cost: $12; Limit: individuals. 4TH - 5TH - 6TH GRADE VOLLEYBALL This program is for boys and girls in the 4th through 6th grades. Our goal is to have fun while teaching the fundamentals of volleyball. We will work on passing, setting and spiking with an overall emphasis on good sportsmanship. This program will begin with practice for the first two weeks and then the boys and girls will be assigned to teams and will play games for the next four weeks. ADULT WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE Join a couple of friends and come out and enjoy an evening of volleyball. This league will play on Sunday nights at the Norwalk Middle School. This league will be self-officiating, Please register as a team. BABYSITTING CLINIC Designed for students 5th grade and above, Babysitting Clinic teaches you to become a first-rate babysitter. Babysitting is an important job. This class will teach you basic first aid and rescue breathing, caring for infants and young children, safety and how to handle emergencies, responsibilities of a babysitter, what par- ents expect of you, age,appropriate toys and activities. This class will meet for three times for two hours on early out Wednesdays. Upon completion of all activi- ties you will receive a Babysitting Clinic Certificate.
