Alex Bennett Audrey Pritchard
Alex Bennett is a freshman at Norwalk High School
and makes the trip to Lincoln every morning and after-
noon to be part O f the Lincoln High School Swim Team.
Bennett is both a vars!ty and junior varsity swimmer,
depending on the event. She participated in middle
school swimming all three years and club swimming
prior to that. She hopes to have a strong first season,
especially in her varsity events of the 200 and 500 yard
freestyle.
Audrey Pritchard will be making the trip in each day
from Norwalk High School her freshman year and will
be starting out on the Lincoln High School varsity squad.
Pritchard was a swimmer on the middle school and club
teams and works hard in the backstroke and butterfly
events. The CIML Metro Conference Swimming Meet
will be heldTarsda3¢ Oct. 21 at 4:30 p.m., at Roosevelt

NMS Cross Country News
Monday, Oct. 11, the Norwalk Middle School Cross-
Country team traveled to Knoxville to compete in the
Little Hawkeye Conference meet. Both boys and girlS
teams placed third in the conference. Newton and
Oskaloosa tied for first in the boys division and Pella
finished first in the girls division.
