Youth Soccer Attends Kohls American Cup
The Norwalk Soccer Club had an under 8 team. Norwalk HPFC Jr's entered in the
2015 Kohls American Cup. The boys played teams from Johnston, Ames, Muscatine
and North Polk. The boys played great throughout the tournament cruising through
their first three games, with great team work and demonstrating their amazing pass-
ing and finishing skills. In the final game the boys played a very tough North Polk
team that was much bigger. With the score knotted 4-4 at half time, the boys came
out ready to play in the second half. Once again using their great passing and finish-
ing, along with great defense and heart the boys came away with a 94 win.
Finishing the tournament 4-0, the boys are also 4-0 in league play in West Des
Moines this season, after going 8-0 in the spring. "As a coach these guys are a plea-
sure to coach, every week they show up 3-4 times a week ready to practice hard.
They are embracing the curriculum of the Norwalk Soccer Club and as such are
seeing amazing success at a young age that will continue all through their soccer

Successful Blood Drive
Norwalk Community Blood Drive was held Thursda Oct. 15, at St. John the
Apostle Catholic Church. A total of 55 units were collected and 157 lives will be
touched by the units.

Unauthorized use of
Credit Card - 2500 block
Cedar Street. Fraudulent
online charges against
credit card account. Infor-
mation taken and a report
was made.
October 15
Theft Report - 2700
block Shady Lane Drive.
Miscellaneous tools re-
moved from a construc-
tion site. Owner did not
wish to pursue charges at
this time. Report made.
