Free Medical Clinics of Iowa is the largest network of free medical clinics in the state of Iowa, donor-supported, not-for-profit, and offers basic medical care services through volunteer physi— cians, nurses and other health professionals. The Norwalk based free clinic has been a blessing to many in our area. Since 2012 the free medical clinic housed at Crossroads ' Church has helped hun- dreds of individuals! The current clinic prac- titioners are not currently available forcing the close of the free clinic for an ex- tended period UNLESS we find more clinic prac- titioners willing to volun- teer their services. Are you a MD/DO, ARNP and/or PA wanting to use your talents to make a HUGE difference in the Norwalk area by being part of this free clinic? The clinic is open once a week for about 2.5 hours. Thus, based on the number of physicians, the clinic practitioner ’s commitment could be as little as once every 1-2 months for a couple of hours. Malprac- tice is covered. Other volunteer posi- tions include the need for nurses and receptionists. This clinic has shown to be a life line for many Norwalk people. Looking to make a HUGE differ- ence and support your Norwalk community? This is a great opportunity to make the difference you are seeking. This fo- cus reflects the importance of this life skill in our daily lives. This past year our young I people have tracked their activities, events, profits and losses, skill development and learning experiences, and much more using the iconic 4-H Record Book. In addition to record keep- ing, the 4—H Record Book gives members an oppor- tunity to reflect on their year, measure their achievements and growth, set goals, and develop plans to meet those goals. The Recognition and Awards Ceremony will showcase our Warren County 4-H member Record Book achieve- merits. Join us to celebrate the accomplishments of our youth! Make your reserva- tions today!
